McDonald's — Restaurant in Sugarcreek

Usually my experiences here are pretty decent and some even wonderful! Typically staff is friendly despite being very short of help due to the pandemic. Yesterday I placed an order via the app like I usually do for the convenience and because I'm usually dead tired after work. The young man with short dirty blonde or brown hair at the speaker and payment/1st window seemed like he didn't want to be there and that we were bothering them. Then we sat at the 2nd window for a few minutes waiting on 2 double cheeseburgers and 1 medium fry. The young lady with brown hair working here was very friendly! One sandwich was customized with mayo, lettuce, no pickle or mustard. I've gotten it several times with no issues. Yesterday when my fiance unwrapped it for me, the biggest mess was all over the wrapper, and upon inspection, it was beyond evident that it was done on purpose. Why? No one deserves that, even if you're short staffed and mad that people keep coming through. We have both worked in restaurants before and understand what you're going through, but don't take it out on others. We will likely avoid this location for a while and go elsewhere until things change, hopefully...

When apply they don't pay attention to what you applied for they just throw ya wherever. I applied and worked as a cook for 3 days when I applied to be maintenance. I took the job cause got me in the door but told em I wanted maintenance then they tell me o it be a week or two to switch ya cause we need ya as a cook an have to talk to other managers. It was a joke so I left if you have an open position for a maintenance why couldn't I move next day no you try to make ppl do what u want even if it ain't there field of work they want na it don't work that way I don't want to cook an do all that if I wanted to cook I would of applied for that so and you can't speak up and say this at the job cause prob just get fired an look bad on ya so I just left wouldn't recommend applying here till they get a manager knows what there doing the small manager was awesome nothin she could do but the big one...

The staff were very kind. Unfortunately the cleanliness of the restaurant itself was awful. The bathrooms were very dirty, from the floor to the top of the mirror. Toilets were the worst. The dining room had signs on the tables saying that they were sanitized though they were not at all, chairs n benches were not pushed in and kind of shoved out of the way and there was bbq sauce all over the seat. The floors were also terrible and the windows, hand prints everywhere. I found it troubling to want to eat there, I had to leave. Hopefully next time I stop there it will be different. If you have a good staff that are friendly you gotta make sure they are doing the job all the way right. This way your sure to get a 5 star...
