China Wok — Restaurant in Sulphur

Normally I don’t do reviews but I’ve been coming to this place for at least a year and a half now. I always order takeout so my experience is with takeout.

The price for the combo I always order is amazing. 11$ for a meal that I can’t finish in one sitting is a great deal. It’s always quick, 10-20mins but I’ve only had it take 20 mins when I ordered 3 combos and honestly it only took them 15 mins. The family (I believe it’s a family) that runs the business are always polite.

I would not recommend this place one buffet to go is 7.75 to go is 25.28 that makes no sense the food on the buffet look like it had been there for a long while and this was at 1:00 in the afternoon ask for a bowl to put some sweet sour sauce in and looked at me like I was crazy and said that I needed to get whatever I could put on the one plate normally they would have bowls out for you but they did not they had no selection whatsoever a lot of the things they had out were just about gone did not plan on putting anything else out or not at that time anyway so I get this place with thumbs down I...

It is definitely the best Chinese restaurant in sulphur and even in Lake charles, I have been to almost all of the Chinese restaurants in the area and nothing compares to how great the food is. My family and I will go out of our way to eat there. The service is usually very good but going there so much I know they do not speak much English but their wonderful cooking makes up for their lack of English, but they always have a smile on their face.
