My recent encounters at Biggby Coffee in Summerville, SC, have left me deeply disappointed and frustrated. As a DoorDash driver, I've experienced consistent mistreatment and disdain from the staff, making it imperative to share my dreadful experiences.
Time and time again, I've been met with nothing but disdainful glares and dismissive remarks simply because I'm a DoorDash driver. The staff's condescending attitude towards delivery drivers is deeply disappointing and unacceptable in any customer-facing establishment.
Adding to the frustration is Biggby Coffee's inability to fulfill orders accurately and on time. It's baffling how they repeatedly manage to bungle even the most straightforward requests, leading to delayed and incorrect deliveries. This inefficiency reflects poorly on both their service and commitment to customer satisfaction.
Biggby Coffee's lack of professionalism is distressing, as their inability to handle basic tasks tarnishes the overall experience. One would expect a renowned chain like Biggby Coffee to prioritize order accuracy and timely service, yet they consistently fall short in both aspects.
It's truly disheartening to witness such a prominent establishment operate so poorly, tarnishing their reputation and leaving EX-customers like me with a bitter taste in our mouths, figuratively and quite literally.
In conclusion, I strongly advise all DoorDash drivers to avoid Biggby Coffee in Summerville, SC. The disrespectful treatment of delivery drivers and their consistent incompetence in handling orders make this place one to steer clear of. Let this review serve as a warning to others who seek quality service, respect, and efficiency when choosing a coffee shop to patronize.
Rudeness can often be seen as a weak person's misguided attempt to display strength. True strength lies in one's ability to handle difficult situations with grace, empathy, and respect for others. When someone resorts to rudeness, it usually reflects their own insecurities and an inability to effectively communicate their feelings or frustrations. A strong person understands the power of kindness, patience, and understanding, even in the face of challenges. They recognize that genuine strength comes from being able to uplift and support others, rather than tearing them down with disrespectful behavior. Choosing kindness over rudeness demonstrates a person's inner strength and emotional intelligence, fostering positive connections and a more harmonious environment for...
Read moreI've been going here since they opened years ago. Occasionally I go through drive-thru when I have our 15 lb Beagle with me. When the servers see her with me, they'll ask if she can have a pup cup. This morning, it was the girl with pink hair & facial piercings (no issue with that except she's extremely snarky with all customers, not just me, inside or drive). I told her good morning, but she only repeated how much I owed, gave me my chg and the bag of food. My Beagle was on my lap, wagging her tail, at the server window. The employee told me I could go now. I asked if she could give our dog a treat or pup cup. She said, "You have to order it and pay for it! We don't just give those out for free, you know!!" I replied, Oh...when did they start that?" She repeatedly told me they weren't free and it was too late to order it now. I asked her how much they were and she said she'd already rung my order up, but I thought she said $3 or $4!!! For a few tbs of whipped cream and 1" doggie bone???!!! Note: The car in front of me drove off as I pulled up and there was no car behind me that I could see. All this to say, although Biggby's is literally a minute from my home, I'll now drive 5 miles up the road to Starbucks instead! NOT because of a pup cup, but because this person is ALWAYS like this, whether I go inside or through drive-thru, twice actually tossing my food on the counter without saying a word until I asked. To be honest, all other staff are exceptionally friendly and seem to enjoy helping their customers. This one person is the exception but she does put a damper on my day if I have to deal with her, know its not just me as I see other customers roll their eyes or tell her they hope her day...
Read moreOk, I'm going with 4 stars because of the consistently great service. They obviously know how to run a coffee shop. Now, as for the coffee, it's pretty low quality. The espresso is different every time, but always pretty poor. Except for one week, it was fantastic. I'm betting that they either have a crappy grinder or just have no idea how much grounds are needed to pull a good shot. That said - I usually get coffee there several times a week, but my office is within walking distance. If Coastal Coffee Roasters or even Starbucks was on my way into work, I'd go there. As for the food, I've only had one of their bragels three times when I was starving. They weren't great. Very little flavor. The turkey on every one of them was partially frozen, which is kind of gross next to a barely warm bagel. The atmosphere inside is nice. I've had many informal business meetings there with sales reps. Quiet enough that you can easily hear the person sitting with you, but not so quiet that you feel like you're in a library. Nice and clean too. Bathrooms are always clean, and they do a great job of keeping the...
