So after visiting and picking up lunch for my husband and I, I don’t know if we’ll be returning. The attitudes from employees during a pandemic is NOT okay. I ordered a bowl with no mushrooms and the nasty little girl at the counter said “we can only do less mushrooms, due to understaffing we’re cooking mushrooms with the steak.” I said “okay so if you’re allergic to mushrooms?” And she said “then you order the ribeye or the filet.” FIRST OF ALL, not everyone wants a ribeye or a filet. The chef was sitting down in the dining room that’s supposedly closed, eating. He could’ve easily cooked steak with no mushrooms quickly but instead he’s sitting, eating, and watching videos on his phone. The two girls behind the counter and in the kitchen are extremely unethical and have the worst attitudes possibly. It’s not anyone’s fault that you’re understaffed, and if you don’t want to continue cooking food and staying open during the pandemic - close your restaurant!! I’ll be contacting DHEC and the better business bureau after this experience. No more of money or business will come back to this restaurant after that. We’ve been coming here for YEARS and have never experienced such bad service. I hope you all get it straight before you lose lots of business because after reading your reviews, I’m not the only person who feels strongly about your bad service. As a cashier you should be able to provide your customers with options. Let them know what is included in certain item. For example: I asked for a pepper chicken bowl with a side of steak. Instead of telling me that steak is not sold separate I was charged for a whole meal and then later told once I said I didn’t want it. On top of that a customer order after me and his plate was pretty much loaded with steak and shrimp. I have noticed this with this particular location. If you order anything SPECIAL you will not get the same quantity as the items already prepared. This place is rarely ever open so I expect great service on the 1-2 days that they are open. It wasnt very fresh, the steak wasnt tender like it used to be and it was flavorless. Not to mention it really messed up mine and my girlfriends stomach really bad. Then on top of that I asked for a lot of white sauce and they gave me 3 of the smallest containers and they weren't even close to being halfway filled. So I had to go back through the drive thru and ask for a specific number of how many more I wanted after waiting in the drive thru line AGAIN they charged me almost 4$ for 6 extra containers.
