Worst experience I have ever had with fast food. I ordered on the app like I normally do. Order was simple, Supreme Tacos Party Pack and 2 drinks. I opted to pick up my order inside because I know the drive thru can get a little busy. This was about 4:45pm on a Saturday. When I got there I parked and went to the door. Locked. There were 2 people waiting in cars by the front door. Got back in the car to call the store and nobody answered so I drove to the drive thru. Told them I ordered on the app and selected inside pickup, they had me repeat my name 3 times then told me I must have ordered to the wrong location. I read off the address on the app and they told me to hang on. Waited a couple minutes and was told to drive around to the window. At the window I was asked for payment, showed them I paid on the app and was told to wait again. They came back and said they were out of both drinks I selected, sweet tea and Baja Blast. Asked for different drinks and was told to pull around to the front by the door. Parked next to the 2 that were still waiting and waited about 20 minutes before an employee came to my car window with a bag of food. She handed it to me and walked off without saying anything so I asked if she was bringing the drinks. She had to ask what drinks I got before going back in to get them. I looked in the bag while waiting and saw food that was not a taco party pack. Looked like 4 burritos, nacos, a couple tacos so I thought screw it we can just eat these instead. Read moreI went through the drive-through which took about 30 minutes to get through. My order was taken and I was given my total. When I got up to the window, I was handed my food, but I noticed that my total was less than they told me at the window so I questioned it and I let them know that I was missing two Chalupa‘s on my receipt.(they handed it to me and didn’t even tell me they didn’t have the chalupas). I was then told that they don’t carry those Chalupa‘s. I then told them I wanted to order something else to replace it, but the woman told me she could not do that and I needed to get back in the long drive-through line and go back through and re-order. I totally understand that there was a long drive-through line, but this was their mistake. They told me the Chalupa‘s were available when they weren’t so to inconvenience me and make me wait in line for 30 minutes while my other food gets cold seemed very unfair to me. I told the woman this (her name was Alicia) And she would not help me. She repeatedly said there’s nothing we can do. As someone who has worked in the food industry, there was a simple solution for this… She very easily could have taken my new food order and asked me to pull around into a parking spot so that she could bring it out to me, but she refused to help me And insisted I needed to go back through the drive-through and wait another 30 minutes. Instead I re ordered, waited again, and by the time I got home the first order I had ordered was cold. Alicia refused to see my perspective or come up with any solution to help me. Read moreFirst, let me say I don't know anyone who works here and I'm not affiliated with Taco Bell in any way. I don't leave reviews very often, but I saw a lot of negative reviews that were the opposite of my experience, I wanted to give the staff some well deserved credit.
I visited this store last night around 1130, went through drive-thru. Even though there were about 4-5 cars in front of me, I was impressed at how fast the line was moving. The lady working at the window (wish I had gotten her name, age I would guess in 50s) greeted me with a big smile and was very pleasant, polite, and professional. Did all the customer service things, asking about condiments, thanked me, etc. And my order was 100% correct-down to the number of hot sauce packets I requested.
I ordered the new cantina chicken burrito, and it was really great! It was hot and freshly made, very happy about that. And I don't usually order the chicken at taco bell - it's always been hit or miss for me. But this chicken was fresh, plump, and tasty! Easily one of the best menu items I've ever had at T.B. I also ordered a crunchwrap supreme, but the burrito filled me up so much that it's sadly still sitting in my fridge. But it also felt hot so I feel like it was definitely fresh.
Anyway, job well done to the staff! Thanks for making it a pleasant experience from start to finish! :)
Oh! I do have one request! Please bring back the churro! Those were the best churros I've ever had! I was so sad when...
