Wendy's — Restaurant in Summerville

I ordered through Doordash and I don't do it often because it can be pretty expensive, ya know? But anyways, after working three 12 hr shifts I was in a pretty good mood because today I got out six hours early but I'm still tired so I decide to order through the app. It takes awhile, it's rainy and I'm sure the line is long because it's lunch hour and I know how working in fast food is. I get my food and I'm missing an item. The lady was so sweet and had really tried to get me my food on time so I'm like alright, no biggie. I'll go get the item I'm missing after she left. So I do. And because I don't use doordash all that often, I didn't know I had to complain to them. But I wasn't complaining at all. I just wanted the item I was missing so I bring my receipt to the cashier but next thing I know the lady is getting a bit snippy. I try not to let it bother me because they've got a long line and stuff but the attitude stays and I'm not one to start anything. I just wanted the food I paid for. But, and now I'm assuming but I don't know if this guy really was the manager or not, but he also scolded me saying I needed to go to Doordash instead like I'm some child who should already know this. The nasty snippy-ness really wasn't necessary. There's a right and a wrong way to talk to someone and your cashier and manager (?) Wasn't doing that. If they had simply explained I would've been fine but their tone was...

Updates** 08/09/25 10:30pm I visited this location with my mobile order from the app. I waited 10 minutes in the drive thru, so I decided to change my order to carryout. However, I ended up waiting another 20 minutes for a burger and four pieces of nuggets. When I finally received my order, I almost thought they handed me the wrong order. I had specifically asked for extra onion, lettuce, and pickles, but they were missing from my order. To make matters worse, there were no tomatoes on Dave’s single along with all pickles lettuce and onion. Since the waiting was too long, I wanted to cancel my order, but unfortunately, the cancel button had disappeared. This experience has made me hesitant to visit this restaurant again, and I might even consider making it my last visit. On top of that by the time I got out the cars in the drive thru has not been moved at all.

I enjoyed two consecutive nights of excellent food at Wendy's. Their bacon cheese fries and chili fries were particularly delicious, and the pickles were phenomenal. Although I requested no salt on my fries, they arrived slightly salted. Despite the slightly long drive-through wait time, I was overall very satisfied...

I had the harvest chicken salad with pomegranate balsamic dressing. I love this salad. My husband loves their chili and he had bacon cheddar fries. I wanted their Honest green tea, did not get to have that. He got him a frosty. This Wendy's had a machine to order before going to the counter. On this machine, there wasn't an option to order the Honest green tea, which was why I didn't get the tea. I had to have sweet tea instead. Not sure I like the machine order or if I would have like to order with a person. We got to pay at the machine. I really hope they decide to put the green tea on their order machine. I really would like to use this machine next time. This Wendy's is located on Dorchester Rd, North Charleston, S.C. Tonight, April 17, 2022, we stopped at this Wendy's. I had an apple pecan salad, hubby had a number 1 single. He actually got hot fries something he usually doesn't get. Happy Easter to all my fellow commenters on Google maps.
