My wife and I went her for our anniversary dinner. Our waiter was polite, when we could actually find him. He would vanish for 20-25 minutes at a time and we wouldn't even see him walking around to other tables or anything. He had the personality of a wet napkin and seemed like he was just there to collect a pay check. We arrived on time for our reservation and were seated immediately. He came to the table 10 minutes after us being there. Handed us our menus and asked what we would like to drink. We asked for a wine list. "Oh I will have to go grab that for you." How does a steakhouse not have a wine list either on the table or in the waiter's hands when they come to the table?! He comes back 10 minutes later with an IPAD for the wine list and tells us the unlock code in case it locks on us. What kind of "high end" steak house uses IPAD's for menus in any capactiy? This restaurant was NOT cheap. We take the wine list and low and behold our waiter disappears for 20 minutes. No recommendations or anything. Finally, he comes back and my wife orders a glass of wine and asks about a special she sees on their website. "That's a manager question" and disappears. The manager comes over and is EXTREMELY rude. "That deal is only for only Thursday's and Friday's, you need to scroll to the top of the page" in a very rude tone and storms off. Our waiter finally comes back, we order our appetizer, I order a salad and a steak, and my wife orders lobster bisque and a steak. He asks us if we would like our soup and salad out with our appetizer ahead of our steaks. We say yes please because we would like some time to finish them before our steaks. At this point another waiter comes over with our water and my wife's wine. Salad, soup, and appetizer come out. 5 minutes into our starters and here come our steaks. I ask what happen to having some time. "The steaks came out quicker than I expected" Excuse me?! Why was the order for them even put in yet? AWFUL! Food itself...
Read moreThe atmosphere of the restaurant was excellent and felt cozy while seated at the table my wife and I occupied. After waiting for approximately ten minutes, our waiter arrived and took our order. Now up to this point we had nothing but water at our table. I left to use the restroom, came back, and no food had arrived. As there was a light crowd that night, my wife and I wondered why service was taking nearly as long as it was. We finally got an assortment of bread and our appetizer pretty much at the same time which took over an half hour to get. Then without even having much of a chance to try that, our dinner was brought out. I had ordered the pork tomahawk to which it was not fully cooked. A good portion was still raw and so I had to find our waiter to have it sent back. The second time it was brought out, my wife had finished her meal and when I tried again, guess what? STILL RAW. It was sent back a third time, at which point I asked for it to just be boxed up to take home. No apologies, no attempt at making things right or even just removing the meal from the ticket. We were charged the full price. After getting home, the pork was dry from being over done and whatever sauce that was supposed to be part of the dish was gone. Ended up just throwing it away and eating cereal for my troubles. Nice place but they need someone in charge that cares about their customers. I won’t return to the restaurant and probably will just avoid the...
Read moreI have done times in the past and had a wonderful experience. However, this time was different. Ordered a medium fillet and like it pink but instead it was well done on the outer 1/4 inch perimeter and over leak crusted with little to no seasoning. The size of the were inconsistent at our table The same item ordered. Mine was half the size of another person in our party.
The French onion soup was very good. Not salty and a good flavor. The cheese was not burnt.
The wedge salad was more like a few pieces of lettuce excessively drowned in the blue cheese. I love blue cheese, but I could barely taste the lettuce because it was too excessive.
Shrimp cocktail was on the verge of spoiling. They were warm, limp, discolored slimy, and fell to the taste. We told the waitress, and she seemed as if it was more of a bother than a legitimate concern. This was concerning because of the risk for food poisoning. In the past, we have always had nice, firm, chilled, cold, and non-spoiled shrimp. This was a major letdown.
The asparagus was a bit bland. No seasoning added to that either. Concerning since you do pay considerable amount for your side dishes
Waitress was not as tentative as she has been in the past. In fact, I accidentally used my steak knife for the salad and she expected me to wipe the blue cheese off instead of getting a knife which you would expect afford to five star restaurant.
The meal is so disappointing that I will...
