10 years ago in October, I had a Wellness Event at a local park and needed 80 sandwiches pronto. I drove by “Pascrella Brothers” Deli asking if its possible to make a large amount of sandwiches in such short time. They said no problem :). The next day I got a delivery of nicely wrapped yummy sandwiches cut in half. I put the sandwiches with an apple in a blue bag. These sandwiches were the highlight of the event. They were fresh and yummy. Participants were supposed to have only one but I saw people coming for seconds. It’s been 10 years and people still talk about the picnic and the sandwiches. People’s favorite was the grilled chicken over romaine with sun-dried tomato, goat cheese, and apple-wood smoked bacon. Yum!
Since then, I often order platters for different events or get-togethers with my members or friends. Everything is always fresh and delicious.
Now that I have my business in Pacsarella’s neighborhood, I often go for my Saturday afternoon “protein power” lunch. I always look forward to my favorite grilled chicken on a multigrain toast with pesto, avocado, tomato and lettuce. Must try! Thank you Pascarella Brothers for...
Read moreI don’t usually go on Facebook but I have to say something here. I had 2 bad experiences at this place. Last week I went to this place for the first time. I waited for my turn in line to be served however when it came to my turn, I was ignored and instead someone else was who walked in after me was asked “how can we help you”. I thought at that time maybe they did not see me and is an honest error. When I expressed that I waiting before I was told yes we will serve you in a minute. There was no apology nothing. Later in the week I went again and ordered food to go. Post their closing time I realized that one item in my order was missing. I went back the next day and the response was “you should have called yesterday”. The owner shrugged his shoulders and said he can’t do anything. It’s not the matter of the missing item or the money. Neither am I going to be poor nor they become richer with such a small amount of dollars. It was a matter of customer service and integrity. I will not...
Read moreCELIAC SAFE!!! Seperate prep and cooking station for gluten free folks. It's so hard to find a particularly awesome breakfast sandwich if you're gluten free. This is the one of the few places I've been to, literally anywhere, that does it correct and proper. After being on the west coast and living through their sad excuse for sandwiches, I came here to Pascarella Brothers. I have not had a gluten free taylor ham egg and cheese breakfast sammy ever. I have never even seen one. My only memory of them are when I could still eat gluten and still lived on the east coast. Well now I have a reason to come back because sadly, there is no Pascarella Brothers in Los Angeles. I'll have to just imagine eating them again.
The owner was a particularly an awesome guy. You could tell that he took pride in his business and I appreciated that.
If you aren't gluten free, the food here looks equally as awesome as the gluten free sammy I...
