PROS 1. The food was great.. I added grilled onions and mushrooms to the burger.. made it even better, but made it kinda sloppy and messy.. 2. The sweet potato fries are awesome.. 3. The waitress made me feel welcomed and was soo nice to me.. THANK YOU! 4. They have a old school arcade 😃😃 5. They serve German food. My wife is German, so I love German food.. CONS 1. Walking in.. I swear, everybody's eyes were on me.. I'm A 5'9" black guy who just got off from work. I own my own business and usually wear slacks and a collared shirt.. but this day I worked at a dirty, disgusting warehouse, so I wore jeans and a t-shirt.. I sat in an area that was reserved for the day.. I didn't know that.. everyone is still staring at me.. I want to ask for service, but I felt so uncomfortable, so I just sat there.. 10 minutes later, a waitress pretty much tells me the area is reserved.. I move and the waitress was soo nice to me.. it made me feel more comfortable being there.. 2. I feel like most of the customers haven't seen or interacted with a black person in years. 😂.. at least that's how they were looking at me.. SUMMARY 1. I really want to come back with my wife.. 2. The waitresses' service was top-notch and really made me feel more comfortable about being there..

Sat at a dirty table due to the only level tables that were available, the rest are all bar stool tables, staff didn’t seem to care much. scotch egg came out like warm and not great. Had the fish sandwich, had to ask for tartar sauce. when I asked the waitress if it came with it, it’s a fish sandwich? her reply was I don’t know I just work here.. my house salad had so much water in it, I had a puddle. I didn’t eat it and showed the waitress and her reply was oh wow, wonder how that happened.. and just threw it in the trash, didn’t even share with the kitchen. My fish sandwich was presented well but FULL of grease and was almost chewy, didn’t eat it. My husband got the Mac and cheese burger. It came with frozen Mac and cheese triangles that you buy from 711 and tasted like they had been sitting and not even fresh. Burger was dried out and no flavor. Our waters tasted like tap water out of the faucet.. DON’T waste your money at this place like we did! We had heard good things and were excited to try this place. It must be just a good place when you’re drunk enough.

The food is great. You'll be safe if you stick to the bar food. The chicken strips were great. For other items that are Irish or German that people critique... Please add salt and pepper aka, seasoning, and use their hot sauces. Ha. The Reuben pizza was actually pretty tasty. The crust isn't anything special and kind of think I'm a not so great way, but the flavor of the pizza was good. The burger was massive for what the price was and it also needed salt at the least. The real winner of this whole place is the steak fries. I don't think I've ever had a better steak fry in my life. They were large and light, not dense like a regular steak fry and were breaded. The arcade has old school games only and most are a quarter. Hard to beat that price. Drinks were decent prices and pours on hard alcohol. Only reason I knocked off a star is because the food was criminally under seasoned, and getting that fixed would really change all their food for what could then be really good.

I've been to here a few times. Everything is perfect. This place is so fun I have to tell my pastor everytime I come here and he always asks if I can take him next time. I told my kids they should just come here instead of college. The people were awesome and the service was perfect, the server even asked for my autograph when I paid my bill probably just because I ate there. I tried to do a little research on this place at the library and the Dewey decimal system just referred me to "awesome". I mentioned this place once in an interview and got the job. My parents are finally proud of me. One of the times I went there was to watch a football game ,and it was so fun, both teams won. I have my ringtone set to Purdy's. I tried delivering food once for Uber eats and the people kept telling me they don't want if it's not from Purdy's. I love road trips but only if they end up here. I wish it was this place that took my virginity. I named my dog Purdy. I bought a tee shirt and threw out the rest of my clothes. Google only had 4 stars before this place was opened. I just had my house appraised and they asked me how close it was to Purdy's. The Grand Canyon asked me if I've ever been to Purdy's. My girlfriend doesn't even wonder where I've been anymore. George Washington wishes his name was George Purdy. Elvis wishes he had seen this place. Geico came here once and had to apologize for it's commercials not being good enough. Chuck Norris cried when he realized he's never been here. My boss asks me why I don't spend more time here. If you haven't been here, pull over and punch yourself on your way here. Would...

I want to love this place — their food is good, their arcade selection is some of the best I’ve seen and they only charge 25-50¢ a play and their machines use real quarters. However, their service and business practices can be unprofessional. We came in on St. Patrick’s Day right after work at 1:30pm, ordered $40 or more worth of food and drinks not to mention money going in the arcade machines, and about an hour and change later around 2:45pm as we were enjoying ourselves we were approached by an employee and asked if we had bracelets, we said no and then was told very bluntly by the employee if we don’t have them by 3pm, “the bouncer was going to kick us out”. That is not how you treat your paying customers. We then found out that Purdy’s was making everyone pay a $10 cover fee after 3pm even for those who had come in before for a “raffle”. What that says to me is that this Irish themed bar wants to nickel and dime every penny they can out of people because of the Irish themed holiday, to get the most money out of everyone, which in my opinion is a pretty scummy business practice. What if we didn’t want to participate in the raffle? There should be an option for people not to, especially when we were there 2 hours before and had already given them more than enough money to offset the $10 cover you’re charging just because. Learn how to treat your customers better and maybe rethink your St. Patrick’s Day...

Traveling here from out of state this place was highly recommended by a friend who lives here. We were very disappointed in agreeing to come. The parking lot isn't that great but we managed to find a spot. Then entered and the restaurant is quite a maze to figure out as a first timer with "Please Seat Yourselves" signs in all the entrances to the different rooms. After waiting for a table to open (still dirty but it was our only option) we were greeted quickly and kindly, finally - something good. We ordered our food, an appetizer of poutine and then our entrees. Nothing fancy, just a shrimp po'boy and a rueben sandwich with a bowl of clam chowder. Our appetizer took FOREVER to come out - so long I wondered if we were forgotten about. But then our food came out fairly quickly afterwards. Being so close to a maritime town as Seattle one would expect at least fresh shrimp - nope. The soup was cold, the shrimp was frozen breaded shrimp served in a hot dog bun. My husband said the rueben wasn't anything special either. Our service was great considering the one server had an entire dining room to handle (if not more.) She was super nice and attentive. Unfortunately that's the only positive to this experience. Definitely not on the return list. Not sure why the locals rave...
