So I like the place enough to review it to start with. Personal opinion most places here in sumter area are garbage. They have become what I always say is sumterized. Start off good and then die down.
So anyway, only 2 of us, first time ordering last night. Ordered 100 bucks of food to try everything out. First and foremost they told me everything is booked fresh and it seemed so. Secondly the meals are not small. To me this is great, I hate getting skimmped. I have only made it half way and not one disappointment yet. I originally just wanted some egg roles but since we never tried it had to go all out. I think the dough of the egg roll has some special seasoning or something in. Unexpected but very good.
I have yet to get to my noodle or hibachi yet but the house fried rice has actual meat in it. Egg rolls are massive in my opinion amd spring rolls delicious. My wife had the rock roll and she loved it. Price wise tou definitely get what you paid for. My new favorite, previous was Ginza till they became sumterized. Most other places you see people pulling out bags of frozen mess but here you can't see that so not sure how fresh is fresh. But the taste is definitely fresh.
Last thing I can say is please don't become sumterized. Also if you guys know how to make good lumpia I'll order that by...
Read moreJust moved to Sumter and wanted to try something different. I am a “Ratings” person when it comes to choosing where to eat. After looking around I had my mind set for “Teppanyaki”. (Visited on a Friday Evening) Please note that you should call ahead your order since you will be waiting for them to make your order fresh. We just walked in since it’s a mile from the house. I really wanted Sushi but the nice young lady at the front desk said it would be a 45 min wait on Sushi. Next time I will most definitely call ahead. We end up ordering: Chicken and Steak Hibachi plate, Chicken Yaki Soba and Crab Rangoon. Before tip it was $32. I was shocked because that’s a little pricey for 2 people. However, after a 25 min wait we decided to eat in. The food did not disappoint. My only 2 complaints was the steak with a little over cooked and my white sauce was runny and not what I liked. The food was very flavor-able and big portions. The Crab Rangoon had a buttery flavor and wasn’t over fried. The sauce that came with it was absolutely yummy, I even put in on my rice. They have earned a 9/10 star in our book. Most definitely will be...
Read moreIncredible and by far the best Japanese/hibachi food I've had in Sumter.
We ordered a variety of food including sushi (2 rolls, 1 fried 1 special), honey chicken wings with beef fried rice, veggie yaki soba noodles, edamame, crab rangoon, and children's steak bowl. Some of the best wings I've ever had, some of the best fried rice I've ever had, the sushi was also some of the best in town, yaki soba some of the best I've ever had, crab rangoon was crispy and very fresh, the steak very tender and flavorful.
Everything far surpassed expectations. Nothing tasted greasy or heavy. I hope this place can keep up the quality to this level because it was nearly flawless and I cannot...
