[Edit] Since I cannot respond back to this review I'm editing it instead. The image shows that the food contains eggs and yet the restaurant responded to me in a nasty way instead of accepting their mistake. Also, I did call back but your restaurant was closed. I went ahead and added this comment since we immediately got sick after eating the pad thai and 2 of us threw up. I wish your restaurant had some empathy towards their customers. But if this is how you choose to respond and handle the situation, that's up to you! :)
I called Jai Thai to place a pick up order for vegetarian food. The Thai curries were really nice but Inspite of asking them multiple times, on the phone, to make the food vegetarian without eggs, meat, oyster sauce or fish sauce, I received the pad Thai noodles with all of it. I asked them to accommodate my dietary restrictions and repeated the restrictions for every item but they still gave me the noodles with eggs, oyster sauce and fish sauce. I had to throw it straight into the trash but ended up paying around $15 for it anyway. Extremely upset about this. The one star is only because of this. Apart from that the Thai...

I recently visited a local Thai restaurant that piqued my interest due to its positive ratings and independent ownership. Upon arrival, I found the space surprisingly spacious, reminiscent of an old office, which gave the ambiance a unique twist—albeit a bit unconventional.
The service was impressive; attentive staff ensured our needs were met, and our food arrived swiftly. We started with a few appetizers: the fried spring rolls and cream cheese wontons were delightful, offering a satisfying crunch and rich flavor. However, the fresh spring rolls left something to be desired—smaller than expected, they could have benefitted from more shrimp.
For the main course, I opted for the duck curry, which was nothing short of fantastic. While I wished for a slightly thicker consistency, the flavors were vibrant and well-balanced, making it a highlight of the meal.
Overall, while this may not be the best Thai restaurant I’ve experienced, it certainly holds its own. I left feeling highly satisfied and would recommend it to anyone looking for a solid Thai...
Read moreThis is the second time I have been here. This time not so good. First, I ordered a pot of the mixed vegetable soup with chicken. What I got was a bowl with spicy soup and I asked the waiter if this was correct and I was told yes. So I took 2 bites and then saw the shrimp. I have a shrimp allergy and I definitely knew that was wrong. So then she brings me the correct item and I informed her I had a shrimp allergy and all she said was sorry. Now my lips are tingling, my tongue is numb, and my face is swelling up and heading to ER now. Then I ordered a sticky rice with egg custard and what I got was coconut ice cream with sticky rice and Carmel topping. Again, I informed the waitress that this was the wrong item. So what I got was some little egg custard put on a plate. When I asked the waitress where was the sticky rice she said the custard was the sticky rice with egg custard. Will never be back. Your servers should be better educated and trained on food allergies and the severity of them. Food was good, what I could eat of it, but I shouldn't have to pay...
