Marlin's Sub Shop — Restaurant in Sunbury

Tuesday June 24th. @ 650 pm. I went into the sub shop/restaurant and was looking at menu at the same time getting ready to sit down and a heavyweight Spanish decent looking woman in her 40s asked what I wanted and I said I was probably going to get a large fry so she rings it up and tells me the price and I said well can I wait till I after I eat before I pay she says oh I guess you can so she yells back to the kitchen and says large fry well done to Go and I told her I said it's not to go so I went ahead and sat down at the table and I was waiting and waiting and finally it was a really hot day I said well can I have a glass of water please so she finally did that and I said I'm also going to need catch up and she said okay so then she keeps yelling back to the kitchen I'm going to need some ketchup with that to go order on table 3 which where I was sitting and I told her I said this is not to go she says I know that but since I placed it that way that's how I'm going to have to order it and I said well I never said it was to go so she said unless you specify and tell me that's not to go I'm going to make it to go so she had a really nasty attitude and I had enough of it so I left and I informed them that I'll be back another day when she's not working there and I asked the one that runs the place I said if she knew so what is wrong with her so it was a really bad experience I wouldn't recommend going to that place if you see anyone that looks fits that description to which I described I don't know her name or I would say that and that's so hence...

Honestly, the place used to be great. I remember coming home from the Sunbury middle school as a kid and Grabbing a root beer at the counter, maybe a sandwich. Nowadays, just like everyone else, the rose their prices by a few dollars and also started skimping on the food; so badly in fact that that single chicken finger is like two or three dollars, Happy five dollars for like 12 corn nuggets. The same that you could get in a frozen bag mine you’re not like their homemade or special in any way.

Of course I appreciate the place for being there for so long and it’s nice to have in there, but I rarely go because it’s just not worth it for a couple slices of meat on the sub for five dollars + , small hoagie it’s just absurd. Subway puts on...

This was my first and last time ordering from here. It was 530 pm on a Monday. I call and after a few rings hear it pick up, but all I hear is someone clearly taking an order. Ok it's dinner time, you're busy, I get it, but don't say hello please hold or anything right, just let me listen to background noise for 5 minutes. I ordered a plain pizza, fries, a pizza roll, and a blt sub. The pizza was skimpy and discolored, the fries undercooked and soggy, the "pizza roll" was just a roll cut in half with cheese and sauce..not quite what I expected but not false advertisement either..would have been fine if it was good. It just wasn't. Poor quality. 2/10. Only because the suv was good, but as a sub shop, you would expect better. Do...
