Worst place to have any drink. Worst business. Worst customer service. I generally don’t write such harsh words but my patience was tested today. I went there with a friend today. This was my first time at this place. I wanted to order Mango Dazzle. I asked the lady at the counter if she could tell me about ingredients of this smoothie. She said I don’t know. I asked again, if it’s possible to get that without sugar. I was just done detoxing and sugar makes me sick. She redirected to the tablet where I selected “No Sugar” and “Almond milk”. My Mango drink very clearly had sugar. It was very sugary and I could totally taste it. I still didn’t say anything. After a few sips, I saw a black bug in my drink. I immediately took it back to the lady. She argued with me that she can’t see the bug and tried to stir my drink to hide the bug. Luckily it came on top again. I also asked about added sugar, she lied again that no sugar was added. She said if I want to exchange my drink. I was disgusted already and wanted to leave. I said NO to another drink and asked her to keep my drink. She said a firm NO that she can’t take the drink back and can’t issue refund. I was out of my patience and mentioned I need to complain about the bug in the drink!! She then ANGRILY stared at me for the next one minute. We were just staring at each other for one full minute. She looked super angry. In the same angry attitude, she turned and did something at her register and gave me a receipt saying take your refund. Not sure if someone ever taught her anything about CUSTOMER SERVICE, specially when a bug appeared in my drink. She lied about sugar too. Here I am, sitting at my couch with upset and aching stomach. Imagine how serious she would be about something people are allergic to. Consider my one star towards the cool interior they had. But negative stars for their drink and the angry employee. Read moreMy first impression was relatively poor. When you enter the store, the main supported way to order is through the kiosk. There was nobody in front to greet us. And so I trudge through the complicated kiosk to make my order. And we all know how difficult it is to order just the right tea drink, getting the level of ice right along with a level of sugar, etc. Except some of the questions on the kiosk were contradictory. For example, if I read it correctly There were two ways to say no ice or two ways to say no sugar. Why make it so complicated?
We had one other question about our order and so we push some button to ask for help. But after several minutes nobody came out. Instead of waiting for the kiosk to timeout, we just completed the order and allow come what may.
It's a complicated ordering process added to the poor experience. And when the drinks arrived, of course the order was incorrect. Even though we explicitly ask for no sugar, the drinks were super sweet and laced with sugar.
Perhaps if we ordered a standard drink and expected it to be very sweet, then it would not have been an issue. But the drink was not too our expectation and there was so much distance between us and the stressed out workers who hardly paid us any attention that it was an overall...

To give some context, I placed an order through DoorDash and it was displayed to me that my order was ready .
I went to the place and was waiting patiently for over 10 mins without even an acknowledgement from the staff. 10 minutes became 20. I asked politely whether my order was ready as displayed. They said no and to wait five minutes.
20 became 40 and 3 people who came in after me and ordered in store (including a gentleman who ordered 4 drinks ) got served before my DoorDash order which was “ready” was served. Then I lost my patience and told them “I have been waiting here for 40 minutes” and finally they said “oh, sorry, give us six minutes” and started preparing my order.
In total I spent 46 minutes waiting for ONE taro milkshake. Absolute waste of everyone’s time involved. If DoorDash wait times are not going to be honored, please have the courtesy to let the customer know.
