So, the extra star is because the food is pretty good, but not amazing to justify how bad the organizational delivery is, but I hope it catches their attention, because the service here is a pretty epic piece of garbage.
Went there with a fairly large group for lunch (6 people) and some ordered the lunch special, and some ordered off the menu. Sounds pretty normal, no? Well, they must have the lunch special pre-made, because they come out very quickly, which is nice if you're one of the people who ordered it. However, if you have ordered something else, it takes a very long time for it to come out!
THIS IS THE PART THAT NEEDS ATTENTION: They bring out the food exactly when it's ready. Once again, this sounds good if you're one of the people who ordered the lunch special, but not if you're the other. So they brought out those meals first, while half of the group had to wait for their food, which took about, 15-20 minutes, AFTER the first were brought out. So now we have a party that is finishing their meals while ours are just being delivered. I mean, come on, we went out to lunch together so we could eat together. Rokko, FIGURE IT OUT!!! Bring out all the food together!!
If you come here for lunch, make sure everyone is on the same page, and orders roughly the same way, or you're going to be left waiting and watching your friends eat. The only good thing about this restaurant is that it's...
Read moreGot 3 blisters on my fingertips from a dish served dangerously hot! We ordered a sizzling egg dish, and the waiter placed it far away from us at the bar, so I reached to move it closer. For the record, he did say, “Be careful, it’s hot,” so I specifically touched the wooden base—not the pan—thinking it would be safe.
Within one second, I had a severe burn.
I asked for ice, which they gave me, and a man brought out 2 first aid supplies and told me to apply it. That was appreciated—but no one said sorry or even asked if I was okay. When we left, the only thing they said was, “Thank you very much!”
There are several serious issues here: The dish should not be brought out this dangerously hot. If it has to be this hot, it must be placed safely—near the rest of the food, especially for bar seating. “It’s hot” is not a strong enough warning. Most people will assume the pan is hot, not the wood base. There should be a clear verbal warning not to touch the wood at all or to use a napkin. They could easily wrap the base with a cloth or napkin to make it safer to handle.
This wasn’t just a small mishap—it was a painful injury that could’ve been easily avoided with better communication and basic safety precautions. Burn on fingertip is the worst and most painful, and so inconvenient for doing anything for the next several days or week...
Read moreWe were promptly seated upon arrival, and our drinks arrived soon after. Although the menu was extensive, it was easy to navigate. Once we placed our order, the food came out promptly—we hardly felt like we had waited at all!
The portion sizes were generous and perfect for sharing, especially considering the reasonable prices. We couldn't finish everything, so we opted to pack the leftovers to-go. They did warn us that we had ordered a lot, but we couldn't resist trying multiple dishes—it was hard to hold back!
The service was exceptional! It's rare to find a restaurant where all the servers are so genuinely sweet and welcoming. We visited on a Tuesday night, and the entire team was incredibly attentive and hospitable. This aspect was greatly appreciated!
Every dish was beautifully presented and delicious. While I can't recall the exact names, you can check out the photos for reference. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience with great food and exceptional service. We'd happily return here...
