This place is super hyped on social media, so I wanted to check out what it was about. Saturday was a bad day because when I went around 1 PM, the queue was massive. It’s an outdoor cafe with some benches and umbrellas to protect you from the sun. Thankfully, I was able to find a seat. It was a windy day and couple of times, some of the umbrella and things like napkin, just flew away. Although the queue was massive, everybody was patient. The staff was super welcoming and friendly and helpful. Most of the people seemed to be ordering the blueberry Macha, but I just wanted to get a regular latte. I got a guava croissant and a butterscotch latte. The coffee took about 10 minutes to come, but I did not mind. The guava croissant was amazing and probably one of the better croissants I have had. The coffee on the other hand was solid, but I was not wowed by it like other folks. I’m still giving it five stars just because I loved the overall experience. Since it’s an outdoor cafe, you see a bunch of cute puppies and dogs with their owner and I got to pet some. My final thoughts are that this place is a tad bit overhyped given the Long queues but it is a solid coffee place,...

🌳 ATMOSPHERE: This is located in the parking lot of a church with some grass and just a few tables! Luckily it was nice outside when we went, so we sat at the tables outside for a bit. If the weather was cloudier, I'd recommend just taking this to go, as there's not a real storefront. Visited on a Saturday at 11am and it was PACKED!
🙋🏻♀️ SERVICE: Despite the long line, service was great, from joining the line to drink in hand, we only waited about 15 minutes.
🥐 FOOD: My friend tried their raspberry oat bar. She enjoyed it, a bit too sweet for me. There weren't any other pastries available so I assume they sell out quickly in the morning.
☕️ DRINKS: I really liked the cream tops. Was hoping that the lavender was available but they rotate flavors throughout the seasons. I opted for the blueberry cream top matcha and was very pleased!
PRICE: Definitely on the pricier side, with my matcha coming out to $8 before tax + tip. Comparable for the area.
I'd definitely come back if I'm stopping by the area and try a...
Read moreI have been so excited to try this place, but unfortunately it failed to meet my expectations.
It was packed on a Saturday around noontime. We were shocked to see how many people were there — it had the same feeling as people dawdling after church, which is funny because this place is located behind a church.
I think I got unlucky with my cream top because it was straight up milk with a bit of syrup. It was super watery and lacked both texture and substance. If you look at the photo it looks sad. The drink overall was also super watery and not memorable. My friend’s matcha was gritty but it was very strong — there’s no milk in it at all but it looks creamy enough to have it. The matcha was more floral than I was expecting and her blueberry cream top was way thicker.
The baristas were very nice, though! Service can be slow but they also just have a lot of orders...
