Quiroga Taqueria is located in the Chevron parking lot and they're setup in the corner with some covering so that's nice if the day is hot. I was really excited as I approached and could see the Al Pastor on the spit so thought we were already off to a good start since Al Pastor is my go to meat and having it freshly carved is the best. $12 for a super burrito here isn't too bad so was excited for it. It took only a few minutes to come out, which was nice not having to wait 10 mins for my burrito even though I had a few people in front of me. They seem really well run with one cashier, one person handling packaging and two people cooking. They offer a standard red sauce but you can also ask for additional red sauce or avocado sauce, which I didn't try but regret now. My first disappointment with the burrito was that it wasn't that hot, even though I ate it within 15 minutes or getting it. It also seems that they do not include sour cream or avocado/guacamole in their super burritos, which was a bit disappointing. I probably should have asked what came in it since their menu didn't describe what was in the burrito and I guess that is my fault for assuming??? You can add them both for an additional $0.50 each, which should have tipped me off. Onto the flavors. This burrito is one of the more sour super burritos I've had, and this is without adding any extra lime or anything else. I also found myself looking for beans in the burrito as they were pretty sparse. I do wish it was a bit bigger as my go to is usually Lopez Taqueria and theirs is about the same price but about 25% bigger with more meat as well. The red sauce was okay, a bit bitter but had a nice spice level to it. I think this burrito would have been much better balanced with the sour cream and avocado but considering how small it was, I think I'll stick to my usually at Lopez down the street.

So. This is officially the best taco truck in the Bay area. Fast service, friendly service incredibly clean, professional, organized, and of course amazing authentic food. The price and quality of this meal cannot be beat. Make sure you try the salsas, top quality. I have this place on my list of taquerias to try in the Bay area for a long time. My husband and I stopped on a whim, and I am so glad we did. It's on my commute and has the best Al Pastor tacos I've ever had in the Bay area.

Always on point food is delicious and consistency of taste and quality always the same. Must try never disappointed super sweet friendly staff with great customer service 100%. Seems family owned. Meats are lean no fatty chunks and salsas are awesome ..you can drink them! Grilled onion, lime , jalapeno with tacos and El pastor meat comes with sweet fresh pineapple slices.

Today was my first time here. Below are a couple reasons why I will be back:

The food. I had the pastor super burrito. It’s tasty, very tasty, but doesn’t feel too heavy. This is important for me as I don’t want to crash at work after lunch. Pastor meat had great flavor. And the salsa is amazing, good heat and delicious. Love that they give onions, jalapeño, and lime packaged on side.

The place is CLEAN! I’ve seen some pretty questionable restaurants pass code in the Bay, so I’m always on the lookout for cleanliness. This truck is clean and organized. Much appreciated!

They don’t ask for a tip and that’s surprisingly refreshing. I’ll more than compensate you through my repeat business. Tipping nowadays is getting absurd.

Customer service. It was quick. Guy helping me was nice and overall pleasant experience.

Price. It’s not a $20 burrito. I can deal with...

This place changed my idea of tacos. I used to think tacos are meh, but after I had chicken tacos from this place, I started appreciating the awesomeness of a fresh, well-made taco. I’ve tried almost all the meats and my favourites are pollo, pastor, and tripa. Their salsa is also very good.

The staff are awesome too! They remember that I always ask for no plastic bags (reduce plastic waste, people!) and actually make it happen. Some places write it down but don’t honour your request, you know? Not this place—they pay attention.

I live in Redwood City, where there are a lot of taco places, and I think this place tops all the places I’ve been in the bay. I love you...
