Since moving to NorCal from LA, I've been searching for a good ramen place. Generally my preference is the strong flavored tonkotsu ramen. Parking: Myzen is located inside a plaza with a decent sized parking lot but because there are so many other shops it might be difficult to find parking during lunch/dinner hours. Interior: It's a pretty decent size restaurant and was very clean. There are plenty of tables to fit groups of 4-6 and possibly more. Staff: The staff are friendly and attentive. As soon as I closed my menu the server came and took my order. Food: I got the Myzen ramen (which is their tonkotsu ramen) and gyoza. The gyoza was average like the kind I could buy from there freezer section of the Japanese market but I would've preferred it to be cooked longer so that the outer skin was more crispy. The broth of the ramen was lighter than I expected but it had enough flavor to not be bland. The noodles were a good chewy texture and tasted good. Also included were soft boiled egg, a couple very thin slices of chashu, seaweed, kikuraage, bamboo shoots, as green onions. The chashu had a good flavor to it however it was very thinly sliced and were small pieces. It's difficult to justify the totally cost of $18. Overall it's much better than the other ramen places I've tried in San Jose and can see myself coming back here occasionally.

Alright so, I will say that I am not usually a fan of ramen. I have never found soup as a meal very filling. But my husband likes ramen and we are very close to this place so I suggested we try it. The first time, we went on a weekday around 7 and were seated immediately. Food came out fast! Within ten minutes of ordering. Though that might just be how it goes on a weekday. This ramen completely blew my mind! Everything about it is perfect, but the broth is especially tasty. We try to make a trip every few weeks, and we we do, I usually order the original Myzen ramen. It's just so delicious, and combined with an appetizer (they have takoyaki -- my favorite food!) it really fills me up. My husband really enjoys the curry ramen. Thank you, Myzen. You have earned two loyal customers!

It's always a pleasant experience coming to Myzen to eat some quality ramen! I definitely recommend their Myzen Ramen all the way as it has a rich tonkotsu based broth with all the familiar ramen toppings. Side dishes are also worth ordering as well! Not a huge alcohol buff but seems like they havr a pretty nice selection of beer. The staff is always friendly and very prompt with taking your order as well. I've always had very nice and efficient servers serve me while I am here and my food comes out reasonably quickly so kudos to the staff! All in all, Myzen is gem of a Japanese restaurant tucked away in a quaint location that definitely deserves a visit when you're over on this side of town.

I recently visited Myzen Ramen in Sunnyvale, and it absolutely exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming and authentic — cozy, clean, and clearly run by people who care deeply about both the food and the customer experience.

I ordered the Curry Ramen, and it was nothing short of phenomenal. The broth was rich and flavorful with just the right balance of spice, and the noodles had a perfect chewy texture. The Kurobuta chashu was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the thoughtful toppings like bamboo shoots, seaweed, and corn added depth and texture to every bite.

The appetizers were just as impressive — especially the Takoyaki and Chicken Kara-Age. Fresh, crispy, and full of flavor.

Service was prompt, friendly, and attentive without being overbearing. You can tell this team takes pride in what they do, and it really elevates the dining experience.

Whether you’re a ramen connoisseur or just someone looking for a comforting, high-quality meal, Myzen is an absolute must-try. I’ll...

'm so excited for another ramen place in Sunnyvale!!!!! I found this place from Yelp's weekly review, and promptly came here for dinner. We got here around 5:30 Mon Friday and there was plenty of open tables so we got seated immediately.

We got the Myzen Ramen (tonkatsu) and Curry Ramen. I really like the Myzen Ramen, which had a lot of ingredients, including corn (my fav), so I finished the entire thing including the broth. My husband enjoyed the Curry Ramen but it was a but too strong for drinking the broth. He says he will get the Myzen Ramen next time.

I like the tonkatsu broth here better than Ramen Seas, but I usually get Miso Ramen at Ramen Seas. So I will try the Miso Ramen here next time to compare. However, it's a bit more expensive here than Ramen Seas. The Myzen Ramen was $10.95 and Curry Ramen was $12.95. Might be because they have more...
