This is a brand new franchise. The place is still clean and shiny. Hopefully they can keep it this way. Staff was efficient but detatched... perhaps on the account of newness and being busy. We went on a Sunday because we were driving and looking for a new place to try and we were hungry too. The place was fairly busy. Food was great and nice size helping of hash brown and eggs with Chili and sourdough bread on the side. Biscuit with gravy would have been good too. The menu is smallish and on the screens. Order your stuff and they will either call your number or bring the food to your table depending on how busy they might be. Food came quickly and it was fresh. Chili was freshly made. Lots of people were ordering burgers but we were having breakfast. Burger looked good but did not seem exceptional or Giant. I would love a giant burger made right... the place's namesake but did not see anybody order a giant burger. Two choices for coffee and I got Colombian full bodied coffee. At almost noon it was chilling there for a minute. The half and half saved the day. They had bunch of pies and samples for almost all the pies. I am not a pie eater other than pizza pie... haha. Chocolate pecan pie looked appetizing but could not do it on a full stomach. I went there for the food and I got good food that was satisfying and filling. Try the place while you go for the food and perhaps not the ambience or the esthetics. Bon appetite!

Spend your money somewhere else. They are bribing people for those 5 stars with free pies. These sliders are a patty cut into 1/4's and extremely sad. For the money spent we could have gone to chili's and actually got full. Fries are from yesterday and maybe made from bill gates labs. We couldn't even finish them. My bacon burger taste like salt and dirty grill. For $13 dollar burger it shoukd at least have real cooked bacon not hormel microwave b.s. We skipped on the pies because dinner was disgusting. Keep it local go to porky's, keller's or don burger. Save yourself the stomach ache and your money. Casher was nice, that's about all we can say good about the place. Don't see this place here for very long. Barf, 🤢

First time in.... Greeted by desserts and already had my eye on the chocolate pecan pie. Simple menu, but that's perfectly fine. Had the cheeseburgers and fries and onion rings. Biggest toasty buns I've ever seen, need to smash just a little bit to get it all to fit in my mouth but enjoyed the crunch and juice of the all the bites. Finished the entire burger. Forgot to order pickles and that would have been a juicer burger. Next time. Had the cheesecake too and coffee. What was missing on the pecan pie was it being warm as it was on the chilled side. I did like that there were real flowers on the table. Adds a nice touch to the dining in experience.

Apparently you get free pie for giving 5 star review - that explains A LOT!!! Read that from another review. Read the negative reviews - save your money cuz the burgers aren't worth it and they are EXPENSIVE!! Took family on a Saturday just before 1pm. Wasn't too crowded. Didn't have to wait to place order but took 20 minutes to get food. Ordered 3 burgers (bacon cheeseburger, cheeseburger, & hamburger), fries, & 3 drinks. The only good thing about ANY of it was that I like a lot of lettuce and they do put a large amount of lettuce but it was still a little wet.

The downside(s) - they put an entire slice of onion that covered the entire bun (way too much), huge glob of mayo on one bun and nothing else on the other bun (not spread out over whole bun - just kind of centered in the middle), burger meat was so bland - no flavor at all. My son's bacon cheeseburger - the bacon wasn't crispy at all. He had a hard time eating it because every bite, he had to gnaw and PULL to get the bacon to break. The cheese on his and my mom's cheeseburgers wasn't melted at all - that signals burgers aren't hot enough to melt cheese. Who wants a cheeseburger where the cheese isn't melted at least a little bit??? Fries were so bland even with dousing in pepper and dipping in ketchup and not at all crispy - super limp and just barely warm. You get your own drinks and the Dr Pepper was starting to go out - it was spuddering so the syrup/water ratio was off. A die hard DP fan knows what I mean!! :) All food came on 1 tray and the way they wrap the burgers, you have to hold it the whole time or unwrap it to be able to put it down on the table or your food touches the table. (unsanitary & gross!!)

And from a sanitary standpoint... I wanted to try the pies/cheesecakes because the desserts in the case looked SOOOO tempting. But, I was so disappointed by the burgers I was concerned the desserts would be disappointing as well. So I thought since I live fairly close, I could come back some other time and get some desserts to take home. But as we were leaving, the pastry case was open and someone was filling it. The problem I have with that is that the case opens from the back (where just the employees can access) AND the entire front dome lifts up - which is what the case is here. The display case is close to customer tables and my family passed right in front of the case while it was open as we were leaving. Anyone could cough, sneeze, touch, or even spit on any of the desserts in the case. We all know someone who spits a little when they talk which is what I mean by spitting on them. There just wasn't any sanitary protection and the girl filling the case had the cart by the front door. The whole thing just grossed me out so I don't plan on getting any desserts from them ever. I was really excited about this place but sadly just super disappointed.

Took way too long to get food that was way too blah for way too much money! And others were getting frustrated about how long their food was...

The wife and I are really excited to try out a new restaurant in Mesquite. We are a little bit of hamburger connoisseurs. Play sometimes drive out to East Texas just to have a juicy burger because they are all that and more. So that is our yard stick to measure others. First thing I want to say is having to order from the counter not really knowing what they have and only having a menu board to look at is not preferable. You really can't do this leisurely knowing that there's other people behind you waiting. The cashier taking our order is also cooking so she's kind of rushed and not too friendly or helpful. Not her fault that's a lot to ask. They really should have menus at the table or other places where you can sit down and decide what to order. We had a coupon for b o g o hamburger. The burgers are rather pricey with fries and drink being 4 to 5 hours almost. So one could easily spend over $30 on just a couple burgers fries and drinks. So my burger, the meat was dry and overcooked, so much lettuce, tomato, and onion that it squashed out when you took a bite. I am all about the French fry and these were neither hot or fresh, sort of dried and withered. You could check out the pictures but just a lot of small end pieces. They also have pies and breakfast all day. The dining room has limited seating and we had to wait for somebody to leave before we could sit down. We had to sit on hard chairs that were not comfortable. I don't mean to be so harsh I'm just giving it to you like I see it and they are new maybe they will get their rhythm. We're always can use a good eating establishment in this area. I wish them well but honestly you could get a better burger and a dozen different fast food restaurant chains at a much...

Food was decent but too expensive for what is was imo. They don’t have combos so you get a burger, fries and a drink and it’s at least $15. We spent $37 for two people. Restaurants are cheaper than this place. Burger was good. Party melt was good. Chili cheese fires ok. I think they make their own chili. Regular fries were cold and didn’t have any salt on them that I could detect. Kind of weird tbh. They were just cold fried potatoes with no seasoning.

Service meh. Nobody in here talks to you or even acknowledges you really. This was our first time here. We live very close. The menu is above and you have to decide what you want right at the counter. I was like ok, I guess we order the food and they bring it to a table you sit down at? So I get the food and see that the register had a tip suggestion. I’m like ok cool I guess they bring the food to you? NOPE I tipped 20% just to have the staff awkwardly stare at us while we ate lol. They should probably get rid of the tipping as they aren’t doing anything for you but making the meal you ordered. Without knowing how they operate this is confusing. On the way out we said thank you etc and nobody said anything.

Atmospere is pretty much nonexistent. There’s probably 5 tables in this whole place. There’s tv with no volume and no noticeable music going on. We were the only people on there so I’m pretty sure anyone listening was in our conversation.

Take from this what you will. We didn’t have a great experience. Food was ok. Fries were real bad. Pricing is high for what it is. There’s no actual service to speak of and the inside is just...
