sweetgreen - Healthy Salads, Bowls and Plates — Restaurant in Sunnyvale

This is not because of the food. So this is on Tuesday, 10/3 at 11:55 pm. I manage a big Corporate Kitchen as my career and I do Food Delivery as my side gig. When I came to this store, this lady was already giving me a not so nice customer service, maybe because 1. I deliver food and 2. My nose is really stuffed and I can barely talk clear, or 3. maybe because she is having a bad day so I let it slide. And then when she asked me about what I was waiting for I told her that I have 2 orders. I wasn't even bothering any of the staff, I was patiently waiting for it to reach to the area where they place delivery orders. And when I told her the name, few minutes after she just tossed and dropped it on the table where I was seated, in a very rude and unprofessional manner. When I asked her "Really? You're just going to throw it at me like that?" She just ignored it and walked out like nothing. Is this how you guys train your employees? She seems like she's the shift manager the way she acts which is worse if she is. Very rude...

this place is in desperate need of reformed management. my partner and I came in 8/17 a little after 5pm. there was “general audiences friendly” music playing in the small dining area and uncensored Cardi B blasting in the open kitchen area. nobody was sitting inside for dinner because of the god awful dissonance and inappropriate lyrics. the young man who prepped our order was unsociable, he skimped on several ingredients, and he didn’t ask how much dressing my partner and I would like on our salads (on previous visits the workers always asked “light, medium, or heavy). The chicken was lukewarm and most bites had gristle, also the small portion of avocado we paid to have added was hard/unripe. Long story short my partner paid $44+ for 2 salads and 2 canned drinks, the service was crumby, the food was poorly prepped and some-what gross, and the restaurant atmosphere was chaotic. Healthy quick lunch and dinner spot in bustling downtown Sunnyvale next to Trader Joe’s and other shopping venues. This place focuses on healthy bowls and salads that have generous servings and fresh ingredients. The hot honey chicken bowl and basically all their salads are expertly designed and always fresh.

We always leave this spot feeling full and happy without being overly heavy and tired like you would feel after eating a cheeseburger somewhere else. They have other healthy drinks such as kombucha and teas!

Be aware that this place is highly popular and located in a popular area. This means that you are likely to wait in line for a bit. The wait has never been more than 10 minutes though! The service is fast and you order and get everything at the counter before you sit!
