Such a fun park! I really wish I could live right near it. The park itself is a hidden gem - beautiful large space, picnic areas, play areas for kids, and right above that the circle of palm trees that it derived its name from. What I love about the park is the community feeling though. There are so many activities possible there- dog park, tennis courts, community indoor space, softball park. And every weekend the park seems to be popping - there’s tons of volleyball nets set up in the park, and the pond area (where I’ve not seen water ) has some dance class or another going on. There’s also an ice cream person that comes by the picnic areas in the afternoon. And, this park’s walking distance from the Cherry Orchard shopping area so one can grab Trader Joe’s/ chipotle/ halal guys/starbucks and come eat at the picnic tables. Did I mention the parrots (I think they’re parrots or a distant cousin?)? Every evening tons of them descend on the tops of the palm trees, and boy are they loud. It’s pretty...

Read moreWe love, love, love, this park. Perfect park for families and children, to walk around, and of course for dogs. There are too dog parks, one for large dogs and one for small dogs. I love that the dog park has water and poop scoops as well as a take a bag leave a bag poop bag policy. There is also a large field of your pup enjoys a larger space to play catch or to chase you around. The park is very well kept and it’s just an overall friendly atmosphere. My only complaint which does not count against the park, is there are some old mosey people and while moving I stopped by the park in my u-haul to let my dog play and shortly after a security guard crept by me, noticeably concerned with my being there. However, I just ignored him and continued to do my thing. It’s a public park and nosey people don’t scare me. Jax and I had a wonderful time and met wonderful people and...
