I bought an assorted meat platter from this place on June 18th at around 6:55 p.m. for my family on my husband's birthday. Unfortunately, we had issues with our order from the start. When I picked up the order, the staff told me they didn't have any yucca for the platter, so they overloaded it with way too many fried plantains. Most of the meat was pork belly, and the quantities or everything else was way disproportionate to the outrageous amount of pork belly they loaded the platter with. When I called the establishment to let them know of the situation, they were closed but picked up the phone and told me their management would call me back the next day to discuss the issue. Ridiculously enough, they never called me back the next day. So when I called their management, they told me that the only thing they could do for me was provide me with a side of Yucca, but why would I need that a day after the event? I definitely wouldn't order from this...

Pretty much every restaurant in Sunrise has gotten way to expensive and this place is no exception. Don't order soup here is not good and it's $20.00. The food is here is average at best. I understand everything is more expensive this days but you can't sale low quality of food at higher prices. For example there's a Nicaraguan place down pine island road called Fritanga something they sale a " completa" which is a take home whole meal for $20.00 that 2 people can eat from one meal. The food quality is better somewhat tha other Hispanic places but fir that price you can go wrong. The place it’s ok. Im only reviewing the dish I had which was Sancocho de costilla. The food came out cold; I ask for a side of cilantro and they gave me a thimble; the soup had the following: half very small potato, a very little piece of yuca and 2 small pieces or corn, 2 pieces of meat that it was so fat I couldn’t eat it, and that was it. The soup was looking weird, it was not a clear soup like it should be but had a dark color and thick consistency instead. Please beware and bring your own container in case you can’t eat it all, since they had the audacity of charging me for the container to bring my leftovers home.
