Stay far away from this business, as the previous comment state ghetto! The owner does not provide decent customer service or stand behind her own products.
Exactly why its hard to support black owned businesses as most lack basic customer service skills and need a class ot two on how to run a "professional" business.
Long story short I purchaeed both of her wash products (purple/pink bottle). I had no issue with the purple one, once it finished I started using the pink one UNTIL I had a bad reaction to it and it tore me up and had a chemical burn from it. I have no idea what she used different in it from the purple one HOWEVER its not all natutal as she and her bottle/labeling states, it has lye in it (google the ingredients).
I went back to store and advise and to swap for the purple one, she tells me that she don't do returns or exchanges once you leave the store. Please explain that? How could I possibly know if a personal hygiene product works with me without leaving the store and trying it in the comfort of my home. No apology or anything then tells me I could buy a new bottle. Really! I mean money wasn't a problem but her lack of customer service was, she didn't try to make the situation right or offer a discount, resolution, hell something. My bottle was still new and full only used 2x's until the reaction. Prior to that she disgarded all my calls, voice messages, and texts. She didn't answer her phone, return any calls, or reply to my texts. The only resolution was notifying my bank. My gynecologist also advised I have a case for legal action.
If you want good natural hyigene products with quality service please look into queen v (can find at all walmarts in the feminine sections). They are very good and reasonable priced.
The business is not who you want to support she is all smiles, super nice and friendly while you're spending your money but have a issue with her product then you will see the real her.

Read moreI placed an order November 28, 2020. I understood COVID and seasonal delays. I emailed January 5, 2021 to notify them that per tracking my order had been in the same place since December 22. I never received it. I was advised January 6, 2021 to file a claim with UPS. I did so the same day. February 9, 2021 I sent a follow up email to check the status. I was asked to provide the claim number on February 10, 2021 which I did the same day. I was advised that their "team" would review the information and get back with me shortly February 10, 2021. Two weeks went by with no response. I emailed February 23, 2021 to request a refund because this is 3 months later...ridiculous. Coincidently, I received no response to my refund request. I emailed again today (March 2, 2021). These are risks you take as a business. This situation should have been rectified back in January. They had tracking and could confirm I never received the products.

Read moreNow I have been going to Cookie Wash for a while, and I have left reviews of my wonderful experiences. But Baby... I don't know if the staff was having a bad day, but my visit made me want to look elsewhere. Drinks were not offered this time. Esti was late (I was on my lunch break, so every minute counts). The place was filthy; the floor was not swept... garbage was not taken out, bathroom was dirty. Under my purse got dirty from where I stored it. As if that wasn't bad enough, after my visit my panties kept sticking to me, went to the restroom and it was a whole piece of wax IN BETWEEN my legs, that I peeled off pulling my hair also (in other words it's like I just finished my wax session). Not sure if I should be too surprised because of the way the esti was rushing my wax job, leaving sections undone. If they didn't want to work that day, they should have closed down. To pay for a service, and tip.... just to go home and finish it myself was a total waste. Waste of money and lunch hour.
