Walked in a little after 8 pm on a Sunday night. There appeared to only be three workers on the clock. The drive thru was constant, and there were 3 customers ahead of us.
The restaurant seemed to be well cleaned, which was about as good as our visit got. The menu was lacking kid's menus. No prices or options.
After 15-20 minutes, the worker from the back of the house came up and took our order. We asked them what was included in the kid's meal. What the options were. What the price would be. She didn't know, and had to ring it up. All questions that could have been answered with a proper menu.
Two out of three of the workers seemed stressed, and their customer service suffered from this. I don't necessarily blame them for that. Perhaps there was a scheduling conflict that was poorly handled. Regardless, the customer service is reflected in this rating.
Food wise, my order of the garlic thick burger and garlic fries seemed to be the most deserving of the poor rating. The fries were cold and stale. The picture I included was what was given to me after I returned them. The fries seemed more fresh, but seemed microwaved. Which is confusing, because the cheese still wouldn't melt. I think fries were microwaved and then dressed with warm garlic butter and cheese. My burger also and a staleness to it, and the garlic butter just poured over a piece of toasted sourdough that had been sitting for a little bit. Not good at all, I do not recommend it at all.
We were then informed at 8:55 that they would be locking the doors and turning off the light in five minutes and sorry for rushing us. This was due to, "being short staffed." They most definitely were.

Read moreI would really like to enjoy Hardee’s again and we have made multiple attempts to do so. I almost never get a straw with my drink so I end up having to drive back and ask for another one. When I order my drink with no ice then depending on who provides my drink I can expect to get half a glass and be told that's how it works (even though other people don't have a problem with giving me a full one). Most of the time we order food we find that our food is very much not fresh but can include burnt bacon. The second to last time I went here the sign was not lit, the drive-thru menu was not lit and the door was locked but I had already paid for my mobile order so I knocked on the window in order to get my food. I was told that yes they are open until 10pm but that the sign was burnt out and the door sticks... Right after I picked up my food and came back for my straw and then was ready to leave, the sign that was supposedly burnt out popped on. Like I said before, I would really like to enjoy Hardee’s again - I did years ago and could have been a dedicated repeat customer but the employees lie to their customers and are very unprofessional about it. The last time I came out, I had my daughter in her wheelchair out in the cold because I thought we could go into the dining room that day. I was informed that they were short staffed and that they could not have the dining room open after 8pm. A simple sign on the door would have prevented most of my frustration over that experience! I truly hope that upper management and corporate management are made aware of how this location is operating!

Read moreCame here for breakfast about 2 weeks ago - 745am. I asked for 2 sandwiches, 2 blueberry biscuits. She made me pull ahead and I waited for nearly 20 minutes, 5 cars went through the drive-thru after me.
I tried to go inside, the doors were locked.
Finally, the drive-thru person brought me my food and I drove away...got 1 block, looked, saw my order was wrong, turned around and had to wait in line again for another 10 minutes.
Every car in line, they were saying "I'll be with you in a few minutes" finally, I get back to the window, it is now 815am. I know this, because I was texting my wife about how I could not believe this.
The person at the window got someone else, I'm assuming a manager, who just argued with me that "nobody has been waiting in line for over 15 minutes" and kept arguing that they only have 2 people here and it's hard and they are backed up.
I get that. Fast food jobs are hard.
What I'm mad about, is how badly I was treated, then instead of any kind of apology, I got a bunch of attitude and stories about how they are struggling. It's not my fault they are having a hard time, it is their fault that they try to make themselves look good by making cars pull forward so they look like they have "amazing" drive-thru times. Anyone who works fast food, knows that trick.
So anyway, I filled out a customer comment survey, they said they would just pass it along to the store I had the issue with...so, about the level of care I would have expected.
