Superior Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Superior

Normally I brag about this place and I have bought gift certificates for family, but today was Horrible, my cousin was in town so I thought I would take him here for breakfast, first we walked in and there was 5 tables empty and not bussed and we had to wait to be seated, but then we gave our order and after 45 mins of them coming to the table twice and refilling his coffee, I asked about our food and they were honest, they told me they completely forgot to put our order in, not sure how you do that, but they did. So after 90 mins we finally ate and they agreed to take 50 percent off the bill, but the waitress' were running around in each other sections we dealt with two different wait staff during our meal, which is odd they were running around people were waiting to be seated and once again there were empty tables not getting bussed. They told me two people called in but that shouldn't have anything to do with forgetting our order. So my cousin was not impressed we almost walked out without our food, but we didn't want the inconvenience of having to go somewhere else and starting over. So we ate and then the food was just okay, extremely disappointing. Not sure if I want to go...

SEVERAL MONTHS AGO MY SON FROM OUT OF TOWN CAME TO VISIT .SO I THOUGHT WE WOULD GO TO SUPERIOR FAMILY RESTAURANT. THAT WAS A NIGHTMARE WITH A VERY STRANGE ACTING WAITRESS. SHE WAS JERKING AND COULDN'T STAND STILL TO HARDLY TAKE OUR ORDER. WE ORDER THE FISH SPECIAL SINCE IT WAS FRIDAY . We waited and waited and A lot of people that came in way after us were already eating. !!i asked about our food and she said it would be right out. We waited a while longer ,while everyone else was eating in the place.WE ENDED UP HAVING TO LEAVE BECAUSE WE NEVER DID GET OUR FOOD. WE WERE THERE FOR OVER AN HOUR. AND WHEN WE GOT THERE ,there were only a couple of tables besides us..I DON'T know what. Happened.she must have never put our order in. Needless to say it was a horrible experience. I do not and will not RECOMMEND this place to anyone. And... I WILL NEVER GO BACK...

This was our first time at the restaurant, when we got there we were a little iffy because it was in a back alley and looked a little shady. We went in to what appeared a really old building come to find out it is an old hotel. The decor was pretty cool and entertaining. Our waitress was very nice. It was 1pm on a saturday, there was plenty of seating available. I ordered the spaghetti with meatballs and it was amazing the meatballs were very flavorful and the sauce was great too. It came with soup or salad I chose the chicken dumpling soup, IT WAS SO GOOD. I could tell it was homemade. My mom and wife had breakfast. The French toast and eggs Benedict. They were both very satisfied and full. Our bill was less than fifty dollars for all our meals. I would recommend this place to anyone. Don't let the exterior...
