I love the tacos and Potato Olés here, absolutely delicious and much better than similar menu items at other places. What I don't like is how often Taco John's gets my order wrong. It happens quite often. Last week I ordered the chips & queso, they forgot the chips! I had to drive back and the manager apologised and gave me two bags of chips, "to make up for it" she said. What am I going to do with an extra bag of dry chips? I'm not saying they should have given me anything at all, I was just surprised that if they were going to, why give me another bag of chips? I would rather they just start getting my order right. It's to the point now where I have to check my order carefully before I leave to save me from having to drive back. Also, I find they are not as friendly here as many of the other fast food restaurants in the area. Start being a little more friendly and get my order right more often and I will raise this to...
Read moreSo I went to Taco John's once about 10 years ago when my students made me on a road trip. Then I did it again a couple years later. Then last week my wife said she had never been so we went.... I thought maybe things would have improved... But not really, the food just seems to be overall pretty bland. I just hate to say it but because I like to give positive reviews to places but it seems like that all three Taco John's just doesn't really do anything for me. Staff is always super nice though. And they are clean and decent restaurants. Kirk, heck, even the generic Taco Bell seems to have just a little more flavor to it. Of course, none of them compared to or are even trying to compare to any of the authentic kind of Street tacos you can find on Taco Tuesdays at some authentic good local Mexican restaurants. But at least in a pinch it's not...
Read moreThis review is solely based on my latest visit to you guys. Normally I have never had any issues with the service here but this time was possibly the rudest service ever. Not even a hello from the begging, could barely understand the kid working “Andrew”. He said something and then silence wasn’t sure what was going on. I get to the window the only words he said to me was my total for the bill then shoved the bag of food out the window at me closed the window and walked away. No thanks no hey have a good night nothing. Great way to treat paying customers. After a long and exhausting day of working in the emergency room I did not have the energy to deal this.
Will I stop eating here occasionally? Probably not. But this attitude towards customers is totally unacceptable and needs to be dealt...
