Update to my first review: Today I went to this location and ordered the bacon King. I was told before that the price on the menu for the orders refers to a medium size which for this meal is $8.99, bcuz one time I ordered a large drink and paid for the upgrade, no biggy. But today I look and see what I was charged the $8.99 plus extra for my medium drink and medium fries. When I asked why I was paying extra for my meal when I've ordered this meal before and had never been charged the extra in the past I was told the price on the menu refers to a small meal. That's outrageous to me that it costs about $10 for a small meal. When I explained to the manager what I was told she said that was wrong and that the person knows it's wrong. I had to make sure to tell her the person who took my order today didn't make the mistake, it was someone else. So I was a little irritated and decided that my food was already made and that I would take it and leave, without a refund. But when I get home, my order was wrong. I got a Whopper I believe. I'm not sure but it's not my burger and I'm pretty disappointed bcuz not only did I pay a lot for my food, I got the wrong thing and I know the burger I got doesn't cost as much as the one I paid for. I also didn't find the manager very helpful or polite and didn't appreciate being seen waiting at the counter with my receipt and the girls saw me and ignored me at first. I live close to this one but I've had numerous issues with them getting my order wrong and being a little rude. I'm not going to this one anymore. I'll just go to the other one on waddell. The customer service isn't that great there either but at least they're better about getting my order right.
Original: My first time here was good. It was calm and quiet and I thought very clean. I felt the girl taking ny order was a bit disinterested if you will. But other than that it was fine. My other encounter going thru the drive thru was a nightmare though. I asked if we could do the 20 peice chicken nuggets and the girl tells us they can't do that one at this location and I said well then can I just order two 10 piece chicken nuggets instead. I apparently confused her bcuz even when we got to the window she still had it wrong. My husband was doing the ordering and by the time we were done ordering we were too flustered so I didn't even get to order a drink. There was no one in front of us and I felt the service was slow and noticed about 4 people just standing around talking with the window closed. I've worked in retail before and was trained to engage with the customer at the window while they're waiting on their food. They don't do that here and I also don't think it's appropriate for them to have long painted acrylics. At my old job we couldn't even have our nails painted or wear rings unless it was a simple...
Read moreMy prescription was not ready to be picked up so I went to Burger King to wait. Everyone always has such bad things to say about our teenagers, well, my experience was a good one. I was in great pain. 3 of the teenagers sitting across from me asked if they could help me in any way? I had received my food but some condiments and napkins were missing. They stopped what they were doing and got me what I needed. They told me anything at all. What the kids did not know was the fact I was a retired teacher. I saw they had their notebooks opened and were attempting to figure out what was needed for their assignments. I spoke up and asked what help could I bring? All 3 boys showed me how far they had gotten, not far. I took each boy separately and explained what he needed to do. I spent more time on their assignment to explain what was missing. They asked me lots of questions which I responded. Over 2 hrs. went by. Before they left I asked to see all 3 reports. They were neat, legible, content was interesting, in other words, a great report. They had to leave and thanked me so much to give my time to them to do well. I told them it was because of their kindness to my needs. My prescription was ready at this point, so I got up to leave as well. The 3 boys helped retrieve my Caine, took my arms and opened the door for me so I would not fall. I told them I hope we meet again. Here were 3 kids who never thought they would end up helping a senior citizen that day. I shall always remember the 3 boys who were sympathic to my...
Read moreThe restaurant was very dirty, french fries, nuggets, onion rings old and stale sitting under the counters. I brought it up after I got my food with my family and 5 year old little brother and first asked if they swept the restraunt. They said yes and I took the opportunity to say that I didn't think so because of all the old obviously stale fries rings and nastiness. I walked away after that and gave them a chance to sweep even a bit and the youngest guy there they had sweep. Now I can't say how he was trained but he only swept the floor they stand on, neglecting the cr** under the fryers coolers and other equipment. Because of this I called Maricopa county environmental and they are doing an investigation. I have before and after pictures which are not labeled but they will speak for themselves. I brought up at the very end that they serve elderly and very young kids, all of which have weakened or not fully developed immune systems. It is literally a breeding ground for bacteria and diseases. The worst part is how the clearly new guy was made to sweep and he didn't even know how, while the manager sat in the back and watched. I also saw customers waiting in line for 10 minutes while the employees seemed to be not busy at all. When I yelled to the back that there are customers they didn't even respond. Here are the pictures.. please be careful if you decide to visit this...
