Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Surprise

My husband and I took our son to eat for lunch here the other day. We were the first customers in and ordered 2 combos with our meals. We grabbed our chips and tried to get a soda but the machine wasnt working, it was just straight water coming out.. We advised them several times so we just started eating our sandwiches. Cups were continued to be sold with the machine not working after we ordered. The lady behind me got upset as well and demanded her money back for the cups, considering she was getting hers to go and couldn't wait anymore. I decided to do that as well since I paid for a cup but eventually had to fill it with water. When asking for a refund the manager got an attitude and told me to return the cups next time it happens. I advised him that is what I was doing and that I was actually the 1st customer in before everyone started returning their cups. I explained they were still selling the cups knowing it wasnt working. He chuckled under his breath and asked me who I spoke to about the machine. Which is funny because he was doing all the cup returns for the people after me, and was aware the machine was broke. I told the manager I dont know why he would expect me to pay for a service that is not working. He stll continued to get an attitude. Thankfully the other staff members were apologetic during the managers frustration because they realized they should have started telling people the soda machine doesnt work. I understand things happen, but I found it super unprofessional that the manager had to get upset over it. Delivery lady calls tells that she in the front. I go outside and open the door and see none, I call the delivery person and she proceeds to tell me that she is not at my door but the entrance of the apartment complex which we have several, I ask her if she is having trouble finding the building. Driver proceeds to say she feels unsafe because there is a man walking around, and wants me to walk to her, I tell her that I fell unsafe being ask to walk 20 minutes to the entrance at night when there are several entrances when she is in her car and is refusing to at least drive to my building. She proceeds to change her story saying that is not that she feels unsafe and is just more convenient to her, so she wants me to go find her to get the food I pay for. This has never happened before I have always ordered jimmy johns and get it delivered. I try calling the store a lady picks up and says she is the manager, I explain the situation and she says that there is nothing she can do as may be the driver is lost, I repeat that the driver bluntly explained that it was just inconvenient and she was not lost as she did not accepted any instructions to find my building or anything she just plainly refused to deliver the food. Supposedly manager says that there is nothing she can do, have to ask for a refund.

I rarely leave any negative reviews but being told that I have to walk 20-25 minutes to get my food because the “Delivery” driver refuses to deliver… I mean at least drive to my building! Welp I will never order from this...

I have To say I love Jimmy John's sandwiches. But I will never go to the West bell road location again, 14155 West bell road.

First off I walk in. There's 2 associates working. I say hello, no one says not 1 word back to me. The other 1's working away and the other one tells the other 1 to come help me. I didn't know it was an inconvenience.

I was helped by an individual who was chomping away on his gum as he took my order. Apparently he's unaware when you're in food service, you're not allowed to chew gum and second of all, you're not allowed to chew it to where I'm actually seeing you to it very disrespectful and bad customer service.

I asked for mustard on my husband's sandwich mine neglect. I forgot to say the Jimmy mustard but yet he didn't offer any mustards as well.

So I ended up with yellow mustard that my husband doesn't even like. I asked for extra avocado. On my sandwich, he said it would be a dollar extra. No I got chargd a 1.29 extra. Yeah it's only 29 cents it's the principle.

Then when my sandwiches were ready I Walk down to the area in which you pick them up at and I said, may I get a bag, please, he says they're right, there, so apparently I have to help myself. I shouldn't went to the back of the d* thing and my my own d* sandwiches. Then they would be correct again. Never again to this Jimmy John location. No matter how much I love the number 12. I will go to Jersey mikes instead. I'll be making sure I call the...
