My son and I went for a birthday lunch. A good hamburger is what we were looking for. We opted to sit in the bar area as it was less noisy. We noticed 2 tables had not been bussed yet and the place was empty. The bartender was not very welcoming at all. She came over as soon as we sat down. We told her we needed a minute. Back in a minute, she came.. We still had not had time to even look over the menu. When we were ready I motioned to her ...she looked at me and said I see you and she continued wiping down the counter top and then turned her back to us and I could see she was looking our way. My son said she's not happy with us, we should leave I said. There are plenty of places to go near this restaurant. She came and took our order, and it seemed like she wasn't on the same page with what we wanted. We double-checked with her, and she said I got it. We waited for the food, not long but she did not listen to us. I had a burger that comes with unlimited steak fries. She did not bring them. We had also ordered the golden potato chips to try @ $1.79, which were on my plate with the luke warm burger. We asked if we could have some steak fries. She said sure and promptly brought back 6 steak fries on a plate. SIX! I was upset we even stopped there. I won't go back. Your food and personnel were lacking that day. We have several Red Robbins to choose from. We should not have paid for the less than appetizing food we were served...pretzel bits with beer cheese sauce looked terrible. Cheese sauce in the cup sat at an angle spilling the top portion of the sauce. My son said they look terrible, but the pretzel bits weren't too bad. He ate 2. This is the first time I've ever given a review like this, but you asked, and I think you should know. It was clear to me that there was no senior management in that restaurant. Other employees huddled at the end of the bar talking to our server/bartender... lots of laughs and talking. When we got our food, the person came into the area to bus the two other tables. As if things weren't going well now, we smelled the cleaner used, and the noise the dishes, silverware made going into a tub. Young girl, conscientious and doing a good job, but for us, it was just one more thing. I'm pretty sure I won't be back at your store, I will give Red Robin another chance at another location. Your store has gone downhill in many areas. Do something with the grumpy bartender.. good lord, on Sunday people might like to go out and have a little fun and a nice meal...she was grumpy, never cracked a smile. My son paid the tab using his Visa. He's usually a great tipper, I'm not sure what he did for this meal. No one ever checked in with us to see if we needed anything. Since the bill is automated, the bartender did not have to thank us for coming, or wish us a nice day.. it was horrible! We were in about 3 pm. It would be great if you would credit back the money we spent at your restaurant. Contact me if you need any information from us. I have a card on the same account. I'm sorry, but you lost us as customers. We used to love Red Robin. It's a shame what we...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI HOPE A MANAGER SEES THIS!!! Please read this before deciding to go here because I was not happy at all with the service I received from here. First off, I asked for mustard for my burger and the server brought my burger out with mushrooms on it. The smart thing to do would have been to have them remake it, then tell me the issue before bringing it to me and apologize for it. Not to mention my French fries were cold! Who does that? But not once did I complain, even though I should have. Because I tried to eat the burger but the mushrooms tasted like they were fresh out of a jar and not cooked at all. Who gets mushrooms and mustard mixed up on an order? I mean really! At this point I was beginning to feel like she was treating me like this on purpose! Sad part is I had to ask her to have them remake my burger and but make it to go. She didn't even bother to offer me a discount. So okay, when I finally get home with my food the only thing that was decent with my to go order were the French fries, that is after I brushed off the extra salt, because they were VERY salty! It was their bacon cheese burger with pickles added that I had ordered and the only thing she didn't do was charge me for having pickles added to my burger. At least the pickles were on their this time. And as of all of this wasn't enough, my bacon was under cooked. It was cooked like they tried putting a rush on my order. I live in Phoenix and this place is too far for me to return with my food so I could speak with the manager there. The sad part is that I was the coach bus driver for a group of college students that were in a golf tournament and none of them had a problem with their order. I wonder if it was because I was the only black person in the group?!? My order cost me $17 and some change. AND TO THINK, I ACTUALLY STILL PAID FOR MY ORDER AND GAVE HER A TIP, WOW! So believe me when I say I may never return to Red Robin EVER AGAIN!!! I use to actually LOVE Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, but this experience has truly left a bad taste in my mouth,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWORST EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD! DO NOT GO HERE! I would give them a zero on stars if I could.
I walked in with 4 kids and 4 adults. I was told the wait would be 20 minutes. Around the 25 minute mark I asked where I was at on getting a table for me and my family. The hostess said that her manager was not listening to her and gave our table away to a group of teenage baseball players that got on the list AFTER we did. WE WERE THERE FIRST and the front desk confirmed with me they did NOT have a reservation! After she said her manager messed up and we would either have to wait until they were done or we could get two 4 top tables next to each other. Annoyed that I was pushed behind someone that got there after me I just said we'll take the two four top tables. We noticed that the tables could be moved together so I decided to move the tables together so our "party" which was all family members could sit together. The waitress said that per company policy we could not do that. I asked to speak to the manager and the manager said that we could not push the tables together. I told the manager that a party of 16 (the baseball team) got my table even though we reserved it first. The manager said "I just got here". First of all LIE, second of all, I don't care. What is the difference between me pushing two tables together to sit with my FAMILY and a bunch of baseball players and coaches who are not family sitting together at one table!? I told them I would leave if they didn't allow me to push the tables together and that I planned on spending around 150$ and would have left a 20$ tip or more. The manager just shrugged it off and said sorry. MANAGER, what is the difference between two tables getting pushed together to sit with family and a big table with a bunch of strangers sitting at it? I think the manager knew the baseball team and gave them preference over my family. THIS MANAGER IS AN IDIOT AND DESERVES TO BE FIRED. USE YOUR BRAIN AND STOP BEING A SHEEP. HORRIBLE...
