Had to put one star up to leave a review. If I could have put up -20 I would. Went to this place this evening with my wife and kids. Put in our orders and waited. Mind you we have a 2yr old and a 4 yr old. Our 4 yr old wanted pizza and our 2 yr old loves spaghetti so we ordered a sub for my wife and i, a pizza, and a kids spaghetti. The waitress brought out the pizza which she set right in front of our 2yr old where he could burn himself, then a couple minutes later the sub, and said the kids spaghetti will be right out. We sat there for 20min my 4yr old eating pizza, and my wife and I eating our sub. The whole time my 2 yr old saying I want spaghetti. We ordered a pepperoni pizza, but it midas well been a cheese pizza cause I had to pick all the pepperoni off for my 2yr old to eat cause he didnt have his spaghetti. Then when it finally arrived it was so hot that someone would end up in the emergency room if they actually ate it. Not to mention the pizza was something that shouldn't even be severed at a gas station. My dogs would have probably walked away from it. This place is a disgrace to the restaurant industry. How dare you make my child sit there for 20 minutes hungry? You should be ashamed of yourselves!!!!!!!!!!! Don't worry I'll make sure you are investigated very soon. I work hard to keep food in my childrens mouths, it was very heart breaking that we couldn't provide what we promised. You make me sick and I hope your business is shut down!!!! Don't let these local reviews fool you. Anyone that has been to a quality Italian restaurant will know this is BS...

The pizza and my daughter's dish were fine but my tortellini was extremely salty. Like my mouth went dry and tingled salty. I even had my daughter taste to double check if I was just being sensitive since I'm hesitant to send food back or complain. But it was. I would've been happy with a replacement but who I assume is the chef came out and confronted me stating he didn't use salt so it was impossible. (Every cook even home cooks at least salt pasta water; it's pasta 101.) This caused me to just lose my appetite completely. I only had maybe 3 bites of the dish so I just chose to not get a new dish and it be comped.
I hope the chef or whoever it was learns not to argue about the taste with a customer. I got indigestion due to confrontation along with an already dried out mouth. This is three stars because our waitress...
Read moreWe visited on a quiet Sunday evening, so the service was super attentive, very fast and enjoyable friendly. A cozy, casual atmosphere.
Salads were simple but fresh. We were a bit disappointed to get crackers with the salad and wish the bread sticks that came with the main course had been presented with the salad. At least next time we will know the fresh bread is on its way.
The pasta dishes were generous, and if anything a bit heavy. For example, had i known how much ground beef was in the meat sauce, I would not have added sausage to the order. Seriously, the meat sauce is like a sloppy Joe! The bread sticks were fresh and warm and useful in cleaning the sauce from the plate.
This is small town Virginia, so the flavor was very straightforward. Don't expect the best meal of your life. No distracting garlic or basil or onion or much of anything in this sauce. But it was a quick and hearty meal in a...
