Wow, what an incredible operation they have going on here. We had the absolute privilege to serve Chimoski’s baked goods as the deserts offered at our wedding this past weekend. Being a small town bakery we were unsure if our order of 200+ items would be a bit much to handle...but it definitely was not! They were unbelievably kind and went above and beyond putting our order together. We purchased individual donut boxes on amazon and they all fit perfectly - they also had a display window on the top of the box so the guests could see which mouth watering pastry they wanted. It’s been days since our wedding and we are still hearing about how delicious the donuts, cinnamon rolls, and cherry almond rolls were. Chimoski has been one of the best bakeries I've ever had the privilege of stumbling across. I visited this bakery nearly three years ago when it was located downtown. I was worried when their space was lost and thought I'd never get to experience their sweet delicacies ever again. I'm happy to say that the new location may be out of the way, but it's better than ever. The cherry crumble pie is absolutely divine. The cream in the cream filled long John is so fluffy with the perfect amount of sweet. You can't go wrong in this store. I had an amazing experience with Chimoski Bakery yesterday! I had my ultrasound done in the morning and called around to several bakeries in Traverse City looking for a place that would make two cupcakes that would have blue or pink filling on the inside so that my husband and I could be surprised together after he got out of work!
