Pho House Suwanee — Restaurant in Suwanee

DO NOT EAT HERE UNLESS UR WILLING TO RISK, the worst customer service i’ve seen in a while, good food but they DID NOT check in on us or get us refills or to go boxes. My dad and i came the first time and this short girl with black hair and glasses had a TERRIBLE attitude and IGNORED us. She then told my DISABLED dad paying that he HAD to pay her a tip bc it’s already added on the receipt. We came back a few months later hoping we would have better service. But it was that same girl and she ignored our table and gave my dad DIRTY LOOKS.But the tables around us and others were all checked on and helped but us. We were not rude or mean or even asking for too much. We just ordered our food and they never came back. Even tho they checked again and again every other table. Which is unfortunate bc the food is good but they do not provide anything else. And on the second time we went as my dad went to pay he asked abt the tip that’s already added on the receipt and this other cashier we haven’t seen told us that they do not force on a tip. And now we know SHE LIED to us the first time we came bc she wanted a tip and knew we were gonna leave her with nothing bc SHE DID NOTHING. Like this is the first time i’ve ever left a review in my life. If i can stop another person from going thru the experience i did then i hope this helps. But again if they can treat us that badly for nothing whose to say they dont mess with the food too yk? Just something to think abt. But yeah thank u random girl who treated my disabled dad horribly. Plenty of free parking by the restaurant. It’s in the same plaza as the Office Depot.

Restaurant is spacious, would be good for groups. They even have a cute little photo wall by the front waiting area if you wanted to take a pic.

A good variety of items on the menu. We were seating right away with no reservation.

Pho Tai (small): asked for no cilantro. It was perfect for my kiddos to share. Loved the broth flavor. I did feel like there wasn’t a lot of meat, so would probably order a medium or large next time.

Bon Bu Hue: if you do not like cilantro, please make sure to also request no Vietnamese coriander. The flavor is very similar. We didn’t realize and only asked for no cilantro. Luckily they were very nice and understanding and made a new one without cilantro and coriander. However, the broth is no longer spicy…I wonder if the coriander is premixed in? This one has less fish sauce taste than some of the others we have had.

Charbroiled pork with steamed rice: definitely felt like the meat portion was small. However, the flavor was really nice!

I was very appreciative that the waitress brought out a pair of scissor, two extra small bowls and plastic utensils for my kids to use without me asking for it. Very thoughtful!

Overall, solid pho place in Suwanee! Will be back...

UPDATE:

Went back, got a vegetarian noodle soup. They didn’t have veggie broth so I said any other pho broth is fine, beef or chicken will work. This happened a previous time and it was no big deal, food was great and charged for veggie soup. This time however, when I got it there was a worm floating at the top, didn’t make a big deal of it just asked for a new one. Finished my meal, go to pay - on top of the worm in my food that I was going to overlook, I’m then upcharged an extra $3 for the chicken broth they used even though it was on the business for running out of the veggie soup! They tried to justify their charge too when I asked about it. INCREDULOUS! Won’t be back to this location.

They were ok, a great addition to the area but they are missing quite a few things from the menu in comparison to their other location. In fact, the very dish I came for was not available. I tried another dish which was fairly good but it did not hit the spot. I know they’re new so I’m hoping they’re just ramping up getting all the menu items & hoping I’ll be able to get what I came for next time!

The interior was clean and modern and the staff were very nice...
