Listen, let me preface this by saying that I never, and I mean never, “Karen” out about things. I work at a pizzeria and we make mistakes from time to time. I’ve worked in other fast food places to, so I know things can happen. Working in food service is stressful, so I’m typically very patient. I called Pizza Hut in Sweetwater and placed an order for a small pepperoni pizza and 12 piece wings. This is a meal for two people to share. I also asked for this to be picked up at a specific time. ordered around 4:30. Asked order to be ready by 5:15. I arrive a little after 5:00, get my wings and pay for my food. I realized that I didn’t receive all of my food. “I also had a small pepperoni pizza” I say. I am not told “sorry for the mistake” or “oh we must have missed that” I get told “there was no pepperoni pizza.” Yes there very much was. I had an entire conversation with the person who took my order about whether or not they could do stuffed crust for a small pizza. I was given a different total over the phone. I just didn’t realize the difference until after I payed and noticed my food missing. I left because I didn’t have the time to wait. I’m not really angry just kind of hurt? Read moreI was the assistant manager for a sit down pizza hut restaurant. There are some expectations that I had for when I went into the store to sit and eat.
There is a sign on the server station saying that you need to order at the counter and that you are welcome to eat in the dinning room. I ordered on my app so I could get deals from the app. There is a soda fountain on site so I figured I could order sodas at the counter... nope I had to buy 2 liters... cost $7 for 2 of them. Now my children have to drink caffine cuz I am not going to spend $14 on 2 liters so they can drink caffine free
Several tables were a mess because people left there empty boxes and cups and plates on the table... because they are at a sit down restaurant and expect a level of service. We cleaned our table completely.
Paper plates, paper cups, pizza boxes that were not necessary. So much waste.
No table service I had to order at the counter, go and get my own food, serve my own drinks, and finally clear my own table.
Should have just eaten at home. I know the expectations for the staff. They are supposed to go above and beyond to provide exceptional service.
I feel like every attempt was made to make me leave the restaurant as quickly as possible... one family decided that the wait for service was to long...
Read moreStarted going here 3 years ago. Never have they gotten an order 100 % correct. Sometimes worse then others. Now yesterday. My wife wanted pizza. I will not personally eat pizza hut at all. But have always bought for her and my grown kids.she got a pizza box yesterday for her and my youngest daughter.needless to say the order was not as ordered. Does no good to complain. I noticed the big guy in the prep area was not wearing gloves. And kinda dirty looking. After they started eating the pizza. And another complaint made. Within 2 hours my wife was so sick.throwing up etc. All the symptoms of food poisoning. They now see and understand my choice not to eat pizza hut.and this one here in sweetwater tn. Being one of the worst I 've been at. In my opinion it should be shut down. But again I personally stopped eating there long ago. But my family did nt listen.now they will.
