Tastee King Donuts — Restaurant in Sweetwater

I'm not a sweet eater, or a bread lover, nor do I care for donuts. However, we went to tastee King for kolaches(pronounced like Co-La-Cheese)(kolaches are like a jumbo sized "pig in the blanket" which is sausage wrapped in dough, and baked. TK has kolaches with or without jalapeños) and while picking them up we ended up getting a dozen of donuts. I ended up trying to eat 1/2 of a donut, and failed, as these donuts are absolute perfection!! They melt in your mouth and are hands down the best donuts EVER. Tastee King knows how to make amazing pastries, croissants, kolaches, donuts, and other things!! No Matter what we get from TK, it's ALWAYS fresh!! On top of amazing quality products, they also are very affordable and have incredible deals and prices!! A dozen of donuts is $8.50, a dozen of kolaches is $22. They also have a drive-thru for convenience!! Their hours are Monday-Saturday 6:00AM-1:30PM, and closed on Sundays!! The first visit was fantastic the gentleman was helpful friendly and fast.

On my second trip I had a trailer on my truck and had a lady stop by my truck and ask me if I have been through the drive through with my trailer before.

My response was no but it's no wider than my truck so I should have no problems and I've actually been through drive-thrus quite a bit narrower than this one.

She looked at me and said well you're blocking traffic and huffed off.

I got to tell you I wasn't blocking traffic my trailer wasn't in the street or blocking any parking spaces and there was plenty of room on both sides to traverse the parking area.

This woman who also apparently sells strawberries she tried to sell me strawberries in a convenience store parking lot before I got to the donut place.

She went inside all with her strawberries and dropped off her delivery or whatever and I left never to return.

Hey I guess I'm not blocking your driveway or parking lot or...

The ideas for doughnuts are cool. Ordered a dozen and their mini doughnut holes. The actually taste of them are hard to describe. They are wet doughnuts with all the same glazed flavor. Even the fun flavored ones taste like a basic glazed doughnut. Not worth the price at all. If you want to get coffee it better just be straight black coffee. Any other coffee drink available has absolutely no coffee in it. I also agree that it is way over priced especially due to no coffee involved.
