Polo Norte Flagler — Restaurant in Sweetwater

My family and I used to enjoy the food in this restaurant since many years ago, but Service and the food have been changing from bad to worse. Tonight we just have a really bad experience, after almost an hour waiting to be sat finally we got a dirty table asking the guy to clean the table again, minutes later we ordered garlic bread a crispy pizza (halve Hawaiian and the other halve sausage), when we got the garlic bread they were not baked correct, 15 minutes later the guy brought a burnt pizza but only sausage, so he took back that pizza telling me we had to wait for another pizza ( another 20 minutes) , finally the waiter brought a second pizza totally burnt and not well baked in the center, no way to eat that pizza so I asked for the manager and he told me he could prepare another pizza (third one) but of course we had to continue waiting, my kids, wife and I very hungry and really sad for the wait and all the inconviniece , few minutes later We just decide no to continue waiting and leave so I went to the manager and complain one more time and his answer was that we had to understand that Human make mistakes, so for me is unacceptable to many mistakes at the same time, that is unprofessional, that is why I will never go again to eat in that place and I don't recommend this...

Conveniently next to the Engineering Campus and Flagler. It's in a small shopping center, so you can also do some light shopping if you need or want and then go eat.

Food is basically Cuban fare. Ice Cream flavors are awesome and one of the main reasons I go here. It's not Baskin Robbins, so don't expect more than a dozen flavors.

Waitresses are indeed almost all Latinas, though they have some mastery over the English language; but their default is Spanish.

The service is indeed slow. I felt like leaving when I showed up once because it was so slow; they also follow up slowly.

Prices are good. I got ice cream for three, a dozen garlic rolls (they're good) & a Media Noche and it didn't even hit $20.

They have window service (coladas, ice cream to go, pastries, etc...) or the option to go inside and sit down. Because of this window, there are potentially flies inside.

Horrible customer service. I was there to celebrate Easter with my family that was already there sitting eating appetizers. When I sat down with my service dog I was asked to leave if I didn’t show them proof that my dog was a service dog. Florida Laws on Service Dog and Emotional Support Animals states that “An establishment can’t require you to provide documentation that your animal is trained.” And it ask about your disability it can only ASK if your animal is a service animal. This was horrible my daughter and I had to miss family Easter lunch with my elderly mother because this restaurant doesn’t know the law, and when I was explaining it the manager told me that I had to leave because the owner doesn’t want animals in...
