From the moment you walk in, this authentic Asian restaurant immediately transports you. The ambiance is cozy yet modern, with warm lighting, traditional decor touches, and the soft hum of conversation and sizzling dishes from the open kitchen. The space feels both vibrant and welcoming perfect for a casual dinner or a special night out.
The staff were outstanding. From the hostess to the servers, everyone was genuinely friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Our server gave us great recommendations and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the meal.
Now to the best part the food!
We started with mango boba tea and strawberry boba tea, both incredibly fresh and not overly sweet. They were the perfect way to kick off the meal.
Next came the appetizers: the pork gyoza were crispy on the outside and juicy inside, and the steamed ginger pork dumplings were so delicate and flavorful. The takoyaki (octopus balls) were a real highlight crispy outside, creamy inside, and topped with just the right amount of sauce and bonito flakes.
The honey garlic shrimp was another favorite perfectly cooked shrimp coated in a sticky, savory-sweet glaze that was absolutely addictive.
Then came the star of the meal: the tonkotsu ramen with pork belly. The broth was rich and silky, the noodles had the perfect bite, and the pork belly melted in our mouths. It’s definitely a contender for the best ramen we’ve had locally.
We also tried the shrimp taekondi, which had a bold, spicy flavor that paired beautifully with the tender shrimp.
For dessert, the rainbow cake was as delicious as it was pretty soft, fluffy layers with just the right touch of sweetness to end the meal on a perfect note.
Overall, everything about our experience was exceptional. The food was bursting with authentic, bold flavors, the service made us feel right at home, and the ambiance tied it all together into a truly memorable evening. We’ll...

Updated review as of 02/03/24:
I have to say, i absolutely enjoyed this place and their food. Unfortunately I came back yesterday with my friend for dinner after driving about 40 minutes since we really enjoy our time here. We arrived and wrote down our information in the notebook and proceeded to wait, after about 20 minutes we were approached by a very rude waitress. She is short and has long black hair in a ponytail. She asked us what is our name and i told her and she says “ARE YOU SURE!?” (Yes im absolutely sure of my name, i have no reason to lie) and then proceeds to tell us that she has been calling several times and no one picks up. She confirms my phone number with me and it seemed like there was bad cell reception in there and thats why I wasn’t receiving the calls. After back and forth of her trying to prove us wrong, she then tells us to go and sit but she walked away without telling us where our table would be, so we were left trying to guess where our table was. We sat down and looking at the menu and this same waitress comes back and tells us she has another phone and is still trying to call me. Which makes no sense since we were already seated and the problem was resolved. Then kept looking over at our table with a smug face as if she proved her point. After about another 10 minutes still no one had come to take our orders and another table that was seated after us were helped. We decided to just get up and leave and never go back. I felt very uncomfortable there after the encounter with the really disrespectful waitress. We have never encountered this type of treatment. She could have simply approached the situation differently instead of immediately trying to prove a point and making the customer...
Read moreI will not be back here again.
The service here is absolutely atrocious. It's a shame as the food is quite good and the atmosphere acceptable - despite being inside an Asian mart it's cutely decorated.
My girlfriend and I used to love this place but it seems as though things have taken a turn for the worst. The service was never noticeably good, but we were frequent customers. We ate here about twice a week - all the staff know our faces. We go to FIU which is the university just about a 10 minute walk away. We tend to tip around the 5 dollar range as we are college students on a tight budget. We pay a hefty amount for the meals here, averaging around 40-50 dollars. I never thought it was a problem and I found it quite evident. We always tip and have always enjoyed the food and are always very polite to the staff even if that isn't returned in kind. After some rude behavior and a sense of being ignored by the shorter female waitress, I decided to bring it up to one of the staff members who proceeded to explain that we were not deserving of being treated well as we tipped less. I explained to him that we were college students and asked to the speak to the manager, who just so happened to be that same rude female waitress. We ended up having a verbal altercation before leaving the restaurant disgusted. During the encounter we were told that the staff "needed to pay their bills" and that we can't tip well one time and the next time tip less and expect the same service as the other customers.
It's an absolute shame how this place treats their repeat customers. I just can't understand how you can see our faces every single week and still treat us like dirt even when we are consistently tipping you. Do you expect 20 dollar tips from students who eat there...
