I came to this Target location to purchase Resident Evil 7: Biohazard Gold Edition for Playstation 4 which was on sale on their website for $20 as part of a sale that was going on at the time.
When I got to the store I couldnt find any copies of the game I had come to purchase on the shelves even though it said that they had the item in stock on their website so I looked for a sales representative in the video games section but it was empty. I saw some other workers packing up freight with target shirts on so I asked them if they could help me find an item that their website said they have in stock but I cant find on the shelves and they called the person in charge of the video games section and told me if the person doesnt show up within 15 minutes to press the little button on the desk. I waited like 5-8 minutes and another group of customers with kids came and couldnt find anyone in the video games section so they pressed the button on the desk. A Target representative came out of the receiving area to answer the button like 5 minutes later and helped the couple with kids first (even though I was waiting first) then after he was done helping them I asked if the representative could help me look for the item I came to purchase. There were no copies of the video game that I came to purchase on the shelf so the representative went inside of receiving and came out with a copy of the game that I came to purchase and I went to the self checkout area to pay for the item.
When I got to the self checkout area the game was ringing up for $30 instead of the price it was showing up online which was $20 (why Target has different prices online vs in store is beyond me) but I asked the cashier why it was ringing up for a different price and showed her the item online on my phone and she price matched their online price which was $10 less without any complaints. For some reason the self checkout was having issues accepting payments however and it wouldnt let me pay with my Target debit card so I had to pay with a different card.
Overall I would rate this Target location a 4/5, the customer service is way better than the Hialeah Target but my visit had a...
Read moreI truly do appreciate this Target- it's always a bonus when your closest store is one of the best in your city! This Target consistently provides good customer service, in addition to providing guidance throughout the return process etc, always making the customer feel valuable. They're usually stocked up on my favorite hygiene products, and recently have in stock great summer clothes! It's a mostly organized store that usually has everything you need in a one-stop-shop!
My only recommendation is to have more cashiers- oftentimes, the self-checkout associate is the only one available to get the line down, so they hop on a register. But when one of the people using self-checkout needs help, there is nobody to provide assistance- or you have to wait for this cashier to finish their line. As a former Target associate, you're supposed to have someone watching self-checkout, if you need to hop on a register- or at least call someone else to do it. Because more often than not, that behavior makes the busy lines longer. Overall great store but can use...
Read moreNo wonder target is falling off. New father of one. I’ve been in the store at least twice a week for four weeks to make exchanges and returns. Never have I had my ID scan for return, but I guess today they decided to scan my ID. Not a big deal, but then I’m told they can only return up to $100 worth of items. On top of that you’re capped at $100 worth of returns for the year. The two managers talk to me like I’m an idiot and do nothing to try and remedy the situation. Their only solution was asking my wife, who just had a C-section, to come down herself with her own ID to make up to another $100 in returns. The employees at customer service told me that the managers were not in but magically the managers appear after two minutes of me, asking what else can be done. I’d say avoid all target locations at all cost, but if you had to avoid at least one by all means, it’s this one. Zero...
