My husband and I were traveling and wanted Pasta for dinner so I googled and your place came up first. We arrived at 6pm. and the place was full except for 3 tables and 1 booth. There were 4 patrons ahead of us waiting to be seated, after waiting for about 15 minutes and being noticed by both waiters and one waitress without being acknowledged we saw they were busy so continued to wait as we had just traveled from Florida and were hungry unfortunately 2 of the gentlemen patience ran out and they left " they stated they had waited way too long. During our wait tables began to empty and we continued to wait still without acknowledgement finally after a half hour the younger waiter asked the number in our party and said he would be right with us. He disappeared 😔 Finally Robbie who was our waiter seated us and took care of us immediately. His service was impeccable and if this review was based on service he would recieve ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ . My husband ordered the manicotti with extra noodles. I ordered the chicken carbonara and a house salad. My meal was horrible to say the least. The creamy sauce was like watered down Alfredo sauce with a fishy taste. The chicken was some type of processed meat. I asked the waiter to remove it from my bill after one bite, he was kind enough to do so. My husband's pasta was crunchy I could hear him eat it from across the table. So needless to say this was not a good experience 😕 I will say it was a cute little quaint town. The restaurant itself was clean, and very appealing. It came to be 3 waitresses called off work which led to the long wait. 🤔 a bit of advice from a restaurant Mgr. Of many many years as a owner if you are going to leave your business understaffed perhaps you should come in and take care of the door and let your customers know there will be a wait due to staffing issues or better yet clean a table and seat them yourself. Robbie is a gem and deserves an employer who values him as much as he values their customers. With the pandemic effecting so many small businesses and employment I would encourage you to take more interest in yours by the looks of...
Read moreRight off the the bat, you will notice a traditional Italian theme within the restaurant, while sporting a small town facade from outside. This restaurant is surely loved because of the almost full house when we arrived. The staff was very busy and attending to the many existing customers, so we took it upon ourselves to take our own seat. I informed the waitress, Tia, that we were in the house. She displayed genuine professionalism, customer service, and sincerity as she waited, served, and checked in on us to see how we were doing. The order itself was filled with originality, taste of many flavors (with the Chef's or cooking staff's creative style) that only a true Italian restaurant could offer. All the food was fresh and very very amazing. I will not mention the dishes photographed here. You can just sho Tia or other staff the pictures - amazing! This is a very family friendly location. From the decor, to the music, to even the patrons, this is the place to go. We tried Italian restaurants from southern Georgia to New England, and Vittorino's surpasses the mark. We will return to experience more of the menu items. Additionally, prices were extremely reasonable, so we enjoyed an exceptional meal at a wonderful price. Final note: these five stars represent family, community, food, and service we experienced here. If any complaint, it would be more attention to detail on cleanliness. Don't get me wrong, the restaurant was very clean, but as I am a cleaning expert, it just could have used a little higher standard. If you had a bad experience at this restaurant, then I justify your review as shortsighted, as I am sure the opportunity wasn't given to staff or management to rectify the issue(s), if...
Read moreVittorino's Cucina in Sweetwater offers a decent dining experience with several positive aspects and some areas that could use improvement. Upon entering, the ambiance and the friendly staff set a welcoming tone, offering prompt service that was appreciated right from the start.
A highlight of the meal was the fresh, delicious bread brought to the table, which was a delightful way to begin our dining experience. The bread's warmth and freshness were notable and set high expectations for the rest of the meal.
The menu at Vittorino's Cucina is extensive, providing a wide range of options which is a plus for any diner looking to have multiple choices. The food's quick arrival was impressive, considering the variety and the number of patrons at the time of our visit.
However, not everything was perfect. A significant downside was that my dad's meal arrived cold in the middle, which was disappointing. This issue points to potential inconsistencies in the kitchen's execution, which could be crucial for ensuring customer satisfaction. The rest of the food, while adequate, did not particularly stand out, though the portion sizes were generous, offering good value.
In summary, Vittorino's Cucina provides a friendly atmosphere with efficient service and a broad menu selection. While the overall experience was decent, the issue of the cold meal is something that the restaurant needs to address to improve the dining experience. It's a place that might be worth another visit, with the hope that such inconsistencies are rectified...
