If I could rate it a 0 I could. I’m never the type to complain about food or anything like that bc I don’t like being that person. But my father had came through this McDonald’s and they had got his order wrong so the lady said she was gonna take his name down so that he can come in and get just a free sandwich. We come back maybe a week later or two and we talk to the manager who not only seemed like they didn’t wanna be bothered with us, but cut us off multiple times when we were trying to explain to her about this issue. She told us there’s nothing they can do about it because they are not allowed to take down any names, but going back to our knowledge, we knew nothing of that, and all we knew was that the other lady we had talked to said she wrote down his name and that he could get a free sandwich when he comes in because they’ll have his name. I tried letting her know that this is no way to treat customers, especially when we were not in the wrong. Because I work in a restaurant area as Aunt if there’s a problem, there’s no need for the argument just a need to fix it. Read moreThere was an issue with the mobile app - I put in an order and went inside to pick it up. I stood at the pick up counter for ten minutes. I didn’t see my order number on the screen so after the ten minutes of waiting and being ignored I asked the manager for help. I showed her my online receipt and the app which was having issues. She said “we didn’t get your order we don’t have it” and refused to refund my money or give me my food. The purchase was already coming out of my bank account. I had an email receipt .
I believe the manager on duty did not handle the situation well and when I reached out to corporate to get my money back they told me “there was nothing they could do and to reach out to the store”
What I will do is tell everyone not to use the mobile app anymore, that this is actually the second time that this same situation has happened. Sure it was only 8 bucks but if you guys did this to me how many other people would you have done this to? Nice people. Busy location (10748 Montgomery Rd, Cincinnati). Really bad traffic/parking situation.
Be extra cautious entering, parking, and exiting this location. Between the killer potholes and speed bumps, and one four-way blind intersection as you exit the drive-through, this place is a cars bad dream.
Most of the issues lie with the little strip mall, Duffys Square, this place is planted in. The mall has seen better days. The parking lot is in disrepair. The placement of a dumpster cage and McDonald's drive through don't allow visibility if you decide to exit to Montgomery road North bound. The other exit to Weller road, forces you through a gauntlet of broken speed bump and potholes.
Ice cream machine not working the day I decided to splurge on one. Maybe it's the universe trying to save me from unnecessary calories. Maybe it's the monopolistic practices of the McDonald's franchise relationship with their soft serve machine supplier.
