"After the big game we always go down to skyline, it's tradition." False family value advertisements keep a failing business afloat, backed by narrowminded people too stubborn to realize the chili is inferior and the menu items are outdated. The smell that seeps out of this restaurant onto the surrounding neighborhood is intolerable and makes me nauseous. A sign in the front boldly displaying customers birthdays and other meaningless information betrays the true malevolent nature of the restaurant. Skyline is a lier's restaurant and a safe haven for criminals and those who leech off of unfortunate souls too weak to defend themselves. Morals have long been abannoned at this establishment as sticker and claw game machines line the inside, preying on ignorant youth. Children brought by irresponsible parents will grow up to take their children to skyline chili in a never ending cycle of mediocrity. Many decades have passed and a chili that is so uneven in consistancy and lacking in quality is still served to an audience of people who are fooled because it is all they know. Countless people complain of gastrointestinal distresss due to skyline chili. Only the fact that it is similar in appearance and taste to other cincinnati style chilis gives skyline a pass. Meanwhile, the company enjoys higher profit margins by serving a horrendous excuse for food while facing virtually no community backlash. I implore anyone who reads this to take note and try other options. Ditch the preposterous, tacky retro design cues and the skyline songs and jingles. Tactics used by companies like skyline and mcdonalds to indoctrinate children to secure their busniess for the future are being seen through. Cincinnati is waking up to you skyline. Soon America will be waking up to you, and the entire...

I have never written a review before, but the experience we had last night I just had to share and does not even deserve the one star I am forced to give. We had been visiting my brother in law in the ICU at Bethesda North Hospital. It was late and we needed dinner and settled on something quick and easy at the Montgomery Skyline. We arrived around 8:45, they closed at 9, told them we had 6 people and could they serve us, we were all arriving in different cars coming from the hospital. 5 of us were seated and ordered drinks and our food. When the last of our party arrived a few minutes after 9 they said they wouldnt serve her! They were still in the process of making our food, it would have taken them 30 seconds to take her order and through some chili on a plate for her. Instead the man in charge, Bubba, loudly argued with my father in front of at least one other table of guests. Bubba said he was only doing what his manager had told him to do and asked my father if he had ever worked in a restaurant and that his employees were all waiting to go home. I have worked in restaurants, for decades, and this is not how you treat customers. Even if she was coming in at 9:02, with the rest of the party already seated, and ordering a rack of lamb you suck it up and serve them what they want. Your business is about making your customers happy, no matter what. We packed up all of our food, paid the bill and left. I will never return to this Skyline, which I grew up going to. Before this incident even happened I had noticed how gross and out dated this restaurant was. Unacceptable way to treat customers, I have never experienced anything like...

So I haven't eaten at this one in a long time. Probably 2:00 or 3 years because a horrible experience from your management staff. I place an order through doordash was supposed to be at this one by my job. Unfortunately it put me at your. Where your staff is still rude IQ of two... When I get there the food's already cold because as I said doordash doesn't know what they're doing. And then my brother having to explain how it's under my big name. So sorry to use my little name. He had the whole order on my phone in front of them and they still couldn't figure it out. So it's getting even colder and colder. Thanks to doordash and lack of knowledge. Yes I will not be back. Like I said it was an accident that came this time. You guys are still horrible and you still need work. Have...

Opened March 2018, the new design for Skyline Chili is a nice addition to the fast food row on Montgomery Road around the 275 intersection. Good friendly staff, the usual good chili (a Cincinnati acquired taste), and a nice location. Nicholas Lambrinides will be proud of his legacy. Nick, a Greek immigrant, opened in 1949, his his first restaurant overlooking the skyline of Cincinnati. Since then, Skyline Chili’s Coneys, 3, 4 and 5 Ways and table-side service have been enjoyed by generations of Cincinnati families. Together with Greaters icecream, you cannot call yourself a Cinci connoisseur until you tried a Coney and a 5-Way, with extra onions and extra cheese.

I love this Skyline location!!! The service is always fantastic regardless of how busy they are. Unfortunately my most recent experience wasn’t the best. The wall rail had a massive amount of dust on it, and my Cheese Coney was pretty bad. The bun wasn’t steamed all the way, the cheese was sparse, and the hotdog was waaay over cooked. And this was literally one of the only times that the person cashing me out didn’t ask how my meal was. Hopefully it’ll be better next time, because I always come back. 😊 Edit: still dusty so I added a picture this time.

This Skyline was amazing. After sitting at a different one for 40 min with a large group that was not acknowledged at all. I called this location to ask if they had room for us. They were wonderful from the phone call to the food. When we arrived they had an area all ready for us. I can not say enough about how nice and accommodating they were. All the food came out correct and was amazing as well. Thank you so much for stepping up when a franchise location dropped the ball.
