A Seafood Lover’s Paradise – Wharf Seafood Delivers Excellence!
I had the pleasure of dining at Wharf Seafood after seeing it listed as a featured restaurant within a Coosa Valley Business Directory, and I can confidently say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy yet elegant ambiance that perfectly complemented the fresh ocean-inspired menu.
The food was simply phenomenal! Every dish was bursting with flavor, showcasing the freshest seafood prepared to perfection. The shrimp were succulent and cooked just right, and the blackened crab cakes were some of the best I've ever had. Crispy on the outside, tender and flavorful on the inside. The Destin seafood platter and chargrilled Oysters were a delightful combination of tastes that transported us straight to the coast.
Not only was the food exceptional, but the service was equally impressive. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and eager to provide recommendations. They truly went above and beyond to make our dining experience special. Thank you so much Phylicia and Heaven!

From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome. Taniyah greeted us with a big smile and asked if it was our first time visiting. She patiently walked us through the dining process and answered all our questions while we browsed the menu. I appreciated her recommendation for the fried green tomatoes — she was spot on!
The atmosphere inside was inviting and comfortable. The dining area was clean, and the music played a nice mix of genres that added to the vibe. The string lights hanging from the ceiling gave it a cozy, backyard feel — but indoors! There’s even a bar area for those who want a more casual experience.
Our service was amazing — shoutout to Kariyah, Kat, and Bonnie for checking on us regularly and making sure we had everything we needed.
Now, let’s talk about the food: 🔥 The fried green tomatoes were delicious — crisp, flavorful, and the perfect starter. 🍤 The shrimp and grits (regular size) were absolutely amazing! The shrimp were perfectly cooked, generously portioned, and full of flavor. 🍗 The chicken fingers were golden, crispy, and just right. A great portion size, too.
This was my first time dining at The Wharf, and I truly enjoyed everything — from the service to the food to the ambiance. I’ll...
Read moreTaniyah, Bianca, Sybil and Summer treated me really well. Did what they were supposed to do. Everything Staff and service wise was great.
Where I have an issue is 12 dollars for halved fried green tomatoes. They were not great, outside was hot middle was cold. Then asking for sauce and being charged for it as extra and one of the worst tartar sauce I've had. The stuffed mahi mahi was ok. Fish was great but there wasn't much stuffed in it. There was one tiny baby shrimp cut in half in a crab cake base I guess. No crab cake material just the sauce of one it seemed. I'd not call it stuff and would have just preferred a crab cake on the side.
Apart from the food which has nothing to do with the staff. Staff was great. Food was average. I'd say fancier packaging of Captain D's. It's like the entire menu is the seafood portion of a steakhouse that nobody...
