L&L Hawaiian Barbecue — Restaurant in Tacoma

I placed an order over the phone and my husband went in to pick it up. When he walked in shortly after they called the name of the order so in a miscommunication he thought I prepaid for the order which I did not. He took the food and left again thinking it was paid. I was in a lash appointment and couldn’t check my phone but when he told me we figured out the mix up and he returned and paid for our order. I am furious because one of the employees took it upon themselves to call and text me on my personal phone number multiple times. They even have the nerve to text me God doesn’t like thieves. I can not believe an establishment would allow such a breach of privacy and when I called the manager I got no answers on how they could do this give out customer phone numbers. I am furious and have yet to receive any type of resolution. That mistake was quickly fixed and made on their end as well but allowing an employee to harass and text me on my private number yeah no I need something to be done this...

This particular location is TERRIBLE when it comes to customer service. They frequently and intentionally leave their phone off the hook to avoid having to take phone orders. When they do take your order over the phone their tone is often annoyed sounding which makes for an unpleasant and awkward interaction. They close up early whenever they feel like it and if you show up in person and call them out on closing early they'll switch up and say they're open but you're only allowed one or two items off of the entire menu and nothing else. This location has been terrible with customer service basically since they opened and they always hire rude, lazy, and unhelpful employees. This negative review is long overdue. If you plan on riding your bike to this location, just know that it is not bike friendly. You may need a car and or be on foot. the restaurant and or the individual at the cashier does not seem fond of bikes again this is probably going to be a foot or vehicle only location restaurant is not findafond a bicycle. I was advised that my bicycle was blocking the thing that holds the drinks on the sales floor I guess you could call it and when I went to go assess the situation my bike was two mill inches in front of the refrigeration.
