Got my second hole piercings here almost a week ago. I asked them a few times whether or not their jewelry is plated or actual 14k gold (I can't wear plated, only the real stuff). They swore it was 14k solid, and I wish I trusted my instincts when i kept thinking it was plated. Anyways, the girl who did my ears was nice.. BUT she clearly was either new or didn't know what she was doing. The first ear (left) was okay kind of, but the back was way to tight and close to my ear. The right one... was even tighter than the left one. When I mentioned it to her, she kept brushing me off. My ears were sore and swollen by nightfall. Thinking it was just me and crazy self I kept pushing myself through. Almost a week later both earrings were infected. We couldn't take the earrings off, and when I called the store they were zero help. When I spoke to the manager and kept explaining why and how it happened, she just kept brushing me off and saying my doctor needs to take care of it. That's fine, he will. Yet, what leaves a bad experience even worse - is when the so called "'manager" is brushing you off, not bothering to find out the piercers name to see if maybe they need better training or what not. I got the earrings out, and took them to an actual jeweler. They said the earrings were plated gold NOT actual gold. When I said we got them at Pagoda, he just shook his head and word for word said "we see this almost on the daily, people think for the cheap price they see they will get quality jewelry/gold, impossible". Save yourself the time and money, and go to a reputable piercing shop or jewelry store that sells quality pieces. I will be calling corporate about the manager issue. The customer service is...

I took my 11mo old daughter to get her ears pierced. The lady who was tending to us gave great information and seemed very confident. She marked my daughter's ears and kept marking the dots uneven. When we finally had an agreement she told me and my husband she'll pierce my daughters right ear because it has 2 dots but she knows which one is the correct one to pierce. She gathered another employee (Nancy) to get my daughters left ear. She tells Nancy to let her know when she's ready. Nancy did and 1, 2, 3 pierce. Nancy pierced my daughters lobe perfectly, and even a little higher than the dot. Very center with her lobe while the other piercer, the one who was so confident, pierced my daughter right at the bottom tip of her lobe. Unfortunately, my baby had to rock the one pierced ear look for about a week until I had time to take her in and get the right ear lobe pierced correctly. Thankfully, Nancy was working the following weekend and was able to do an equally good job on the right ear as she did the left. I am so happy with my babies ear piercings and proud to say the same piercer did both ears. Nancy is so good, and she definitely sees straight lines. 4 stars because the other lady...

My daughter went to get her nose pierced, associate #13577136 after setting up for twenty minute she proceeded to make a mark to were she was going to put the piercing afterwards she asks my daughter if it was ok she said yes and goes ahead and pierced her nose one done she looks at my daughters nose and says I need to take it out I pierced it wrong. My daughter tells the associate that she has to pick her daughter up from school and she proceeds to say well let me make sure my schedule is open so she could redo the piercing. Meanwhile my daughters nose was bleeding profusely my daughter changed her mind about getting her nose pierced again because her confidence in the associate was gone, the associate states to my daughter that she could only give her the money back from the jewelry and not the piercing that she messed up my oldest daughter proceeded to talk to the associate for her sister and another customer came in and that’s when the associate agreed to give my daughter back her full refund but she could only get it back right at that second.
