This place has been flying under my radar for some time now. I finally decided to check it out. It was very clean and tidy despite having a cool dive bar atmosphere. Dark red walls adorned with Jimmy Hendrix, the Beatles, Grateful Dead, some Hindu art and celestial pieces. Nice little spot on Pacific Ave just minutes from the Lincoln district. I ordered a cold veggie sub which isn’t on the menu but they were cool about allowing me to do a build your own kind of thing. Very accommodating. I’m vegetarian and they do have a hot veg sub on menu but I wasn’t feeling something hot today. I give the sub a solid 4 out of 5 stars. I’d say five if the bread was a little better, but I’m a tough cretic because none of the local sub places have the bread like a little spot I grew up with that was ran by a guy from Jersey. He sold his business but kept his bread recipe and I’ve been craving it ever since. Anyway! I’m getting off track! Slice of life is cool! Worth checking out! I like the vibe and will make this a regular spot in the neighborhood!

This little hole in the wall has great pizza! Just my kinda place. It reminds me of the East Coast style. I’ve been there 3 times this month and it’s been great every time! The ambiance reminds me of Philly. Simply and delicious. They have a condiment table with parmesan, red pepper flakes, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. The price is very fair especially for the quality. It’s excellent! I’ve been told their sandwiches are great but haven’t tried them yet. The owners are very nice. 10/10 recommend!

I believe 5 stars is reserved for an elite experience or this would be 5 stars across the board. The gentleman that took my order on the phone and counter assistance was great. The selection of drinks when you get there is great. The pizza was also very good. I respect a pizza where you're getting sauce and toppings all the way to the crust and they do just that. Sauce is yummy. Toppings were pretty good. I'm definitely going to order from here again.

Tried out this place last week, ordered the meatball sub, club sub and a cheese steak. I freaking love the bread, soft with a little chew, not like a hot dog bun at all which is what sandwich shops do. Lotta people like that texture but I'm not a fan so I was pleasantly surprised. Employees were friendly and took my order immediately, the owner was friendly and we chatted a bit. They have a pretty awesome selection of beers which I browsed while waiting on the sammies. Must have waited less than 15 minutes from start to finish for 2 hot subs and a cold and it was worth the wait. I bought some chips and beer, took the meals home and had plenty for leftovers the next day. So freaking good. I'm really glad to have a place like this in the neighborhood for a quick bite that isn't a chain burger place. I'll have to try...

First off nice presentation. What I didn't like was the saltiness of the pizza. I had meatballs(which were half size possibly previously frozen) not whole or homemade. The crust was perfect. The sauce, well there was hardly any $35 DD order. Man....I've had your pizza before I believe I had pepperoni and bacon or pepperoni and pineapple or something like that and it was really good. So I know you guys have good pizza…I was just really disappointed with this one man!I wish there was something you could do to make it right. DD didn't do much $6 back soo...lame! Definitely NY Style. I like that! Hey less salt....more sauce. Idk pizza was...
