Taqueria and Asadero Al Carbon — Restaurant in Tacoma

First time ordering. The reason I gave a four with customer service is because the menu is exclusively in Spanish and when I tried to place my order by phone, no one spoke English & unfortunately I don't speak Spanish. I went to restaurant and they had a picture menu that I could point to, otherwise I would not have been able to place an order. The order was served fast. The interior of restaurant was clean and the lady who served me was pleasant & smiled while she waited on me. I picked up a burger because my husband saw a review that they were the best in town. It was reasonably priced but not as expected, but afterall this isnt a burger place, so we will have to update review once we try their authentic Mexican food. I always recommend trying your local owned businesses yourself, because your taste is what matters. Do not go here, I placed an online order and was texted the time to pickup. I got there, the woman was outside and met me inside and tried to tell me the machine was shut down and couldn't process orders anymore. There was a severe language barrier and she had to call her boss who then had to tell me they aren't open and will refund me. The sign was open in front and online said they were open.

If they were not taking orders anymore, I wish they shut down the online...

Seemed like a nice place. Had great reviews. I lived in LA for a long time so I was spoiled with unreal Mexican food. I got a burrito and I’m not sure if the lettuce (yes they put lettuce in a burrito) was either old and spoiled or what but it tasted like they dipped it in some kind of vinegar. Ruined the entire taste of my meal. If anyone can recommend me something else from there I’ll try it, but don’t get the burrito...
