I’m writing this review as a tenant as they had suites they rented out on the side of their building.
If you see an ad for rooms for rent for artists, be weary. I highly advise anyone not to do business with them on that front. They do not know how to do anything regarding being landlords or leasing.
We had signed a 6 month lease and did a bunch of renovations unbeknownst to us that the owner of the building didn’t approve our sublease and didn’t know we were there after months of being there.
When we offered to sign a longer lease in order to recoup costs of renovations they refused. We were unable to even conduct business in the time being there due to the extensive renovations we did to our side of the building. Ultimately it led to a loss of time. A loss of materials, and revenue for my business and my employee.
They advertised a kitchenette and bathroom, but the bathrooms ceiling is open in which you can hear everything from the other side of their building, and the oven in the kitchenette was full of trash and dishes which we decided to leave for them to clean up.
They were incredibly dodgy and unprofessional. I would not advise anyone to participate in any business with them on that end.
Do not be lured in by the cheap rent. We are sure this was just an elaborate scheme to get people to renovate their building and to take the work they did. We didn’t end up finishing due to us terminating our lease early because what is the point of being somewhere you have two months of a term on and you cannot really conduct any business due to how short of a time you’ll be there.

Read moreI absolutely loved my experience at Puget Sound Glassblowing! I was blown away by the talent of Anthony and Ricky, also the office manager Wally was so welcoming! I have never been accused of being artistic or creative, but Anthony and Ricky helped me find confidence in my choices and then were there every step of the way. I cannot wait to see how my vase turned out! If I lived closer I would definitely visit more often. Having hand made items, things you have participated in, or watched being formed from a lump of just glass is an incredible process! So many life lessons that I took away from watching the glass being fired, and adding color to... then being shaped... then being fired again... things back home in Swannanoa NC are hard right now, after Helene... and this experience in a weird way gave me hope, that even though things are hard, and look like a mess, as I keep walking... day by day... perhaps after the "heat" and hardship begins to subside, there will be a thing of beauty created if not in my town, then perhaps in me as I look back years from now. I know a bit philosophical ... sorry for that, but hey, I always heard the phrase, "Art imitates life" and I think I will hold to hope that there are beautiful days ahead. I really enjoyed my time and this vase will be an item, handmade, that will always be a cherished piece of hope for me. Thank you Anthony, Ricky and Wally!...

The hands-on glassblowing session was beyond amazing. We each got the chance to create our own unique piece of art, and the instructors were incredibly patient and knowledgeable. They guided us step-by-step, making the whole process accessible and fun—even for beginners! Watching molten glass transform into stunning creations right in front of our eyes was nothing short of magical.
Everyone in our family felt completely comfortable and engaged throughout. The instructors went out of their way to make sure we had a special, personalized experience. By the end, we had beautiful glass pieces that we’re proud to display at home, and memories that we’ll cherish forever.
