The food here is usually good and fresh. I stick to the honey chicken which has always been solid, so I cannot speak much on other menu items.
The issue for me is the service. Every time I come in, it’s the same situation: several people are working in the back, but nobody ever approaches the front in a timely manner. It’s always the one young man handling customers, and honestly, the way he interacts doesn’t feel right.
One experience that really stood out was when a white customer came in. Staff from the back greeted him right away and got to helping him immediately. On my visits, though, I’m left standing there waiting while they finish whatever tasks they want to do in the back before even acknowledging me.
When I finally do get helped, the process is still frustrating. You have to go through a phone number (sometimes the last 4 digits and sometimes all 9 digits when the receipt also has the first and last name) every single time to verify an order, even though I come in regularly. Read moreI wish I could give 0 stars. I tried ordering a meal and since they picked up, the woman on the phone gave me the nastiest attitude. It’s always that same lady. I was using a deal they posted on an app. The first thing I asked was if I use two coupons and she said I can’t use coupons over the phone and that I can’t use 2. There was clearly a language barrier so I was very patient and spoke slowly. I told her I will show it to her when I come pay, and she said super angrily “ok what do you want?!, interrupting me with a sassy “ok” every item I said. Couldn’t even get a word out but I held myself together. Understanding I couldn’t use two coupons, I used one and then ordered dumplings. Out of nowhere, she screamed “I SAID YOU ONLY USE ONE COUPON!!!” I said she was being very rude and to just cancel my order.
