Great food. Service was friendly but slow and disorganized. We ordered the original cinnamon rolls, a savory roll, and Grandma's caramel apple cake and 5 drinks ($46). We got the cake when we ordered and 2 cinnamon rolls came out after a 5-10 minute wait. We only got the third one after reminding them another 10 minutes later. At 20 minutes, 1 of our 5 drinks came out. At 25 minutes we got the 2nd drink, but it was unfortunately not what we had ordered. At 30 minutes we received the last 3 drinks; everyone had already finished eating. We were told when ordering the savory roll was still in the oven and would be a few minutes. We mistakenly assumed this meant 5ish minutes. It took more than half an hour. Staff was apologetic, but I can't understand how they wouldn't know how long something would need to bake. I was very excited to try this place and we made a special trip just for this purpose. The food was great, much better than you'd get at a chain coffee place, but the experience was so frustrating, I doubt we'll be back. Also, if you're allergic to dogs, you'll want to get your order to go. The website said dogs are welcome on the patio, but there were 2 in the restaurant when we arrived. One was sitting in a fabric yellow chair, eating off the table. The chair and table had dog fur on them. I love dogs, but this is too much. The next couple that sat at the table wiped it down themselves, staff had not even noticed or cleaned up the table. That said, the rest of the restaurant seemed very clean. Perhaps we caught them on an...
Read moreImmediately upon walking in your nose is filled with the smell of fresh coffee and baked goods. Once you've had a moment to look around, the first thing that catches your eye is the case of fresh baked, hello cakes, muffins, cinnamon rolls, and so much more. They all look so delicious they have a Creme De Leche that I would devour. Some of the items are even gluten-free, like the 8 dollar sour dough bread, and it's an entire loaf!! The next thing to catch my eye was this strange contraption on the other side of the building that, according to its name, is a coffee bean roaster. Meaning they get the raw beans and roast them how they want! How cool is that? I also noticed they have a decent size wine rack for Friday and Saturday night when they do wine and charcuterie. Just to the right of the register is my favorite part about the entire experience it's a little section dedicated to helping foster dogs find a loving home and I think that is just to sweet and very clearly tells you where the heart and soul of this business is. It's to help our community by bringing folks together for a little treat and quality time with each other. Be sure to stop in here. Grab a drink and a snack with some friends or alone...
Read moreDecided to try this place yesterday, noticed that there were a lot of cars in the parking lot with Trump and very conservative bumper sticker statements. I should have known better with a name like Ground Ops that when I walked in, the place gave off a very 'Murica vibe. I'm all for supporting our troops and showing patriotism, but everything seemed tactical, overly patriotic (like over the top), and very, very, very right wing. It all made me a little uneasy while waiting to give my order. I decided that I needed coffee anyway because I had to get back to work and I was already there. They have just one person working the register and making the drinks and they take FOREVER. I ordered an americano and I had to literally stand there while they boiled water on a hot plate. If you're in a rush, this is not the place to go to. I also ordered a chocolate cappucino pastry and the pastry was just basically dry white bread. The only thing that had sweetness was the frosting which was overly sweet and did not help the very very dry bread. Do not recommend this place if you're trying to avoid ultra-conservative establishments or if you're in a rush...
