I don't like to bash businesses. But I do believe if I work hard for my money and things don't go right I have a right to express my concerns. Sadly this is the only Hardee's left in Tallahassee. The one on apalanche was the best in the fastest. But this Hardy's here! They are slow, and don't go in the morning because you will be late. I don't care if you go 15 minutes earlier before you do the work or even 20 minutes better yet 30 minutes. You are still going to be late. They have no sense of urgency whatsoever! And I mean whatsoever. I've bitten my tongue and I've continuously returned to this sad sorry location Time After Time because I love Hardee's. But today, was the last straw. I was the only one in drive-thru ordering there was two cars before me, the first car I swear it took 10 minutes before they pulled off. The second car took about 7 minutes before they pulled off. And then finally I get to the window and the same sweet young lady skinny girl don't know her name black girl. She is always at the window she sometimes make me mad because she does not know how to do multiple things at one time. Sometimes she'll have you at the window, your food will be next to her and she's taking orders to the other people in the Drive-Thru. She's fixing their food, and then she comes and ring you up and take your money after she done took care of three four orders why you sit there and wait and watch her and be late for work. Today she seemed to have gotten better. I gave her my card and then I noticed that the other two chatty boxes and a guy and one of the ladies was a general manager we're talking and laughing and they grabbed my bag because they realize it was the wrong one. The girl gave me a soda, I then told her I ordered orange juice she gave me the orange juice and then gave me my bag something deep inside of me told me to check my order. Because if you can give me a soda nine times out of 10 the bag you gave me did not belong to me. I get to work late by 5 minutes, open up my food wrong sandwich I lifted the bread up it had bacon on it cheese that was literally burnt in a yellow brownish color that's how I burnt it was the bacon was harder than the wall. I had no choice to eat it I just remove the hard burnt cheese in the solid as a rock bacon and it had a dry egg sandwich. When I ordered a chicken biscuit sandwich combo with cold tater toters. I called the store spoke with the general manager and I was frustrated but I was not disrespectful. The general manager told me I'm trying to explain something to you but you're being a little Saucy or spicy something like that she said. Yeah I was spicy but I was not disrespectful, I was tired of being late even though I'm coming early I was tired of the slowness I'm tired of them being at work feeling though we have nowhere to go either so we're on their time, so therefore they don't need a sense of urgency. The general manager gave me two options to bring the food back which I told her was not going to happen because I'm at work now and the other option was to bring the food back with a receipt which I never got. This restaurant needs to be uprooted with new employees except for the sweet young lady who's learning how to multitask. I won't bring back the receipt that I never...
Read moreTLDR: Burgers tasted boiled and lacked the charbroiled flavor, resembling a hot loogie.
After a long day of work, I was excited to indulge in a delicious charbroiled burger, so I decided to visit Hardee's. I ordered a mushroom and Swiss burger (#7) with an extra patty to enhance the charbroiled flavor. To my surprise, my order was delivered suspiciously fast, and upon opening the wrapper, I noticed the absence of the familiar grilled aroma.
I took a bite, expecting the rich and savory taste, but instead, I was met with bland, salty, and disappointingly soft beef patties. It reminded me of the time when I had lost my sense of taste due to COVID, leaving only a perception of saltiness and sweetness. Hoping for improvement, I attempted another bite, but unfortunately, the experience didn't improve. I couldn't decipher how the burger patties were cooked; they seemed steamed or boiled, definitely far from anything resembling charbroiling.
Unwilling to let it go, I mustered the courage (uncharacteristic for me) to return to the drive-thru and express my concerns to the staff. However, I was informed that the burgers had just come off the grill and were supposedly 100 percent charbroiled. Despite my doubts, I reluctantly accepted their explanation and prepared to leave. Taking another bite, I strained to taste anything beyond the mushrooms, cheese, and excessive saltiness.
Curiosity got the better of me, and I examined the patty closely, discovering some maillard reaction on the edge. I took a bite, only to find it spongy and lacking in flavor, just like the rest of the burger. When I lifted the patty, I noticed a solid greyish surface with small grid-like impressions beneath it. This reinforced my suspicion that these patties were probably taken straight from the freezer and tossed into a hotwell until ordered.
Driven by my dissatisfaction and feeling that I had consumed someone else's unsavory creation, I made a final trip back to the drive-thru, insisting on a resolution. The staff treated me as though I were an unreasonable customer, but I stood my ground, eventually receiving a refund. Nevertheless, the unsettling feeling of consuming a subpar burger remained, prompting me to share my disappointing...
Read moreI ordered the #2 burger with specialties. While ordering I wasn't pleased with the customer service. I waited around 10 minutes before i was spoken too. The cashier seemed a bit frustrated as if she didn't want to be there. As I was ordering i explained to her exactly what i would like to have on my burger. She questioned me again on what i would like. I calmly repeated to the cashier what I wanted. She started to get pink in the face and talked very loudly saying that she has to take everything off one by one. Anyways, after the i received the order, I expected her to look at the order and make sure the food was correctly made, so I didn't bother looking in the bag to make sure my food was correct. So I left the store and told her to have a nice day. Which that gesture was ignored. Shortly after finding out that my burger wasn't made correctly, I turned around and drove back to Hardee's . The same lady was still there and didn't bother asking would need to be fixed on my order. So i patiently waited, another worker ended up asking me what happened. I told the other worker who was actually doing drive thru but came and started helping the front cashier out that my burger was incorrectly made, and she made another burger the right way. Whoever the front cashier was today around 1:00-1:25 I would recommend you send her to a training again . To learn how to repeat the order to the customer, check the order when made from grill before handing the food to customers, and last but not least making sure she utilizes customer service in a...
