First of all, the food was really good. Thumbs up from whole family. I will return. The location is a nice addition to an underserved area. The people that came to the car were helpful and friendly. We got two different pizzas, garlic roles, bread, dessert, the whole shebang. With tips, about $60 bucks for takeout and happy to support a local business. The issues were in the process. The website/app was clunky. I wanted to order the stuffed chicago that everyone is raving about, but I could not find that specific choice. It is the first thing you see on the site and should be clickable. Says you need to order 45 minutes ahead. Fine with me, if it was easy to order. I ended up ordering a supreme but could not see anywhere where I could change the toppings. That's fine, family can just pick off what they don't want. Placed order around 4:30 for 5:30 order. Got a proactive call around 5:15 to clarify part of order. Got there at 5:30. By the way, google maps is a bit off. Waited a good 20 minutes more while other pick ups came and went. Finally got order. Oops, forgot 2 liter. I called out to staff member and they hustled back in to get the soda. I gave another tip for the extra work. Check order again. Oops, forgot the garlic knots. No one outside so I find number and call and say I still need knots. Young lady brings and apologizes. No problem. Get home, everyone loves the food. The cinnabites I order with extra sauce. I find one that looks like it could be icing. Nope, that's not sweet. Maybe the extra sauce is just already on it. Doesn't appear to be. So, my comments are process related. The food is great. Work out these kinks and this place could have a very...
Read moreWent to Munchies and tried it for the first time today. Bought two deep dish Chicago style stuffed pizzas. One cheese for my brother and one veggie with three meats added to it for me. Came up to $54 and some change(a little pricey) and an hour to wait time. When I picked it up & got home I ate a small slice & it tasted very good but kinda seemed like something was missing. Took a shower, sat down got two slices and looked at them with a fork. And guess what? No meat! The cheese pizza was $18.99 with tax and the rest of the $54 was mine. I was " Godzilla HOT"! But I called them calmly and told them the situation. The manager said he could credit me $6 dollars back or give credit on my next visit. After hearing that twice I lost it and blew up a little bit. Paying $30 dollars for a pizza is out of my norm but especially for something I dont want. But to make along story short the manager was outstanding and apologized, made me a fresh one and gave me a chicken bacon ranch salad to boot. I commend him and Munchies for stepping up to the plate and correcting their mistake. I saw 5 homeless gentlemen in front of a church and gave them the other pie. They were extremely grateful and I hope I blessed them in a sone kinda way if only for a night. I definitely recommend Munchies and will...
Read moreThis is my 3rd time ordering from munchies. The owner is very nice and the pizza is good, but they need to train better and more thoroughly for sure. My first time there was great as Eric handled everything from cashier to making pizza.
2nd time, the nice older gentlemen working the cash register gave me incorrect change and I tried to explain it to him, and he had to have some lady help him to explain he had cashed me out for a different order.
This 3rd time I ordered from bite squad. I got a half BBQ chicken/half Hawaiian pizza and guess what, the bbq chicken didn’t have on top... no BBQ sauce! I called the restaurant to let them know and the guy basically said oh sorry I forgot the bbq sauce on top but there’s a Carolina gold sauce under the cheese. The Carolina gold sauce isn’t in the description at all, and the pizza is supposed to also have regular brown bbq sauce on top! Not just the mustard base sauce that’s on it. He said there’s nothing he can do and when I asked for a manager he said he was the manager. His name was Logan. Logan should not be a manager if he doesn’t know the recipe for the bbq chicken pizza. Logan should also not work in customer service if he gets an order wrong and says there’s...
