I've never been to a more improperly managed Panera Bread in my whole entire life. The first couple of times that I ordered from this location, the employees there were really rude.
The first time I ordered online, which was my first time doing so. I ask the ladies at the counter, "Where do you pick up online orders?" and she looked at me like I was an idiot, said "It's right behind you" in a condescending tone, and pointed behind me. Now the online order shelf in question is not obviously marked, at least for someone entering the restaurant. If you had never seen it before, you would have no idea where it is. I can understand her frustration maybe if it had in the lunch rush, but it was around 11 and it was hardly busy inside the restaurant. But I don't know how her day was going so I decided to write it off as a fluke.
Now I usually love Panera, and the location is really convenient, so I took another chance. The second time really made my blood boil because this employee wasn't just kind of rude, or something I could misconstrue as rude, she was really just nasty. I ordered online again, and I showed up to pick up my order. Because I knew where the pick up counter was this time, there shouldn't be a problem right? Wrong. This time my order was nowhere to be found so I waited in line to see what the problem was. When I got up to the counter, I said "My order isnt on the shelf." The girl looked at me like it was my fault and said with McDonald's level attitude, "We ain't got no shortbread cookies." I maintained my cool, chose another desert and walked out.
The last time, and the final time I will ever eat there, I ordered online again. This time I saw my order on the shelf. I picked it up and walked out, because I usually ruin errands on my lunch break. This is why I order online. By the time I had a chance to look in my bag, it's the wrong thing, and my dessert is missing. I was heated. I gave this establishment three chances. Every one has been blown. I drove all the way back to the restaurant. By then, my lunch hour was pretty much over. I waited in line, told them about the mistake. I got a standard apology and they began to remake my order. I just wanted my money back at that point. The Blairstone location won't be receiving any more of my money.
There are better restaurants in the area, and you get better customer service. I won't be back, and the experience has soured the...

I ordered online for delivery with a xmas gift card (otherwise likely would have skipped all this frustration) Total came out to nearly $50, left an above average tip (25%) and the delivery time wasnt that bad (thanks doordash driver, I know you did your best!)
FAst forward, food arrives, turns out it isn't my order; I tell the driver, they say, "It is sealed. I deliver what they give me, call the store". Not an ideal response but that's a downside of outsourcing your delivery drivers, which is an acceptable and reasonable roadblock operating under the current norms of food delivery. #GIGECONOMY
I call the store, they attempt to throw all the blame on the driver, "It is his responsibility to check the order" even though THEIR staff handed it to this sweet older man, likely not terribly tech savvy but trying to earn a living.
The manager then said they would contact DD and get my UNdelivered order (it was still on the shelf at the restaurant) delivered with no apologies and no offer of retribution. She took no ownership of the situation. Maybe $50 isn't much for a Panera order, (bougie much?) but any amount of patronage coupled with a bad experience deserves more than...
Read moreI don't like leaving these types of reviews, but it's what will hopefully make them be better. We were the first group inside this AM (Sunday, 8/19/23). Had to sweep the crumbs off the seat to sit down. Crumbs were all over the floor. Crumbs were in booth seat crevices. It was clear that the store was not properly cleaned from the previous closing shift. If the front of the house is that dirty, it makes you wonder about the cleanliness of back of the house/kitchen. Next, our order was wrong, again. They gave us the wrong sandwich and one item was missing. The missing item was supposed to be in the display counter (greek yougurt), but the display only had juices. They clearly were not ready to open. Proper management and leadership would fix this. You can do better. Now we are late to our appointment.
SON OF A!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!??? Went back in to get the right sandwich and hit the road only to find out that they gave us the wrong one AGAIN! Come on...you have to do better. Have some attention to detail. All chicken sandwiches are not the same. Sheesh... For the record. The one on Archer Rd in Gainesville messed up on...
